DeepOnion is not susceptible to 51% attack because it's a hybrid PoW/PoS crypto. In order to pull a 51% attack, an attacker must gain control of both (at least 51% hashrate and at least 51% of the distributed ONION coins) which is next to impossible after the public distribution airdrop.

Currently the devs are looking into the out of sync error.

Yeah, that's true. I just referred to the POW Hashrate, so my fault. So yeah for a 51% attack the attacker would need at least 50% of the distributed coins too.
But nevertheless a chain split can still occur.
I tried to reindex my wallet now and changed the nodes in my conf file to the official nodes only but I'm still stuck on block 1104929, so above the official explorer.
