I love DO for it's potential future utility and have held DO -in a similar weight range- for weeks and weeks and have never staked. Not the end of the world.

Thank you for the informative response! I finally got a clear answer. At least now I won't have false hope of getting any substantial staking in the near future. I guess that's why it's good to get coins early before they are 1 cent, so you can get thousands at a time. At least I'm getting the Airdrops and will HODL for the long term. Yes, the airdrop is still a good possibility to get free onions. The real deal has been to get the airdrop from the very first moment, people were getting from hundreds to over a thousand onions per airdrop depending on their rank. But onions had zero value then, so most people on the forum didn't care...

u are guaranteed to receive a few stakes in 24h with a weight of about 0.5% of the network diff.

3000 is equal to 0.007% of the total diff so u gotta wait longer.
