I just play cards with my friends and relatives when playing it traditionally especially when there is special occasions. Gambling for fun. I just try once playing on a regular casinos but it almost 8 years now.

Online gambling for me is also for fun, meeting new friends and of course try my luck to win. I like sharing winning bets and everyone congratulating you on chat.

I think these differences are not so much differences as features. I only have tried online gambling and can never say about real life casinos since I've never really been in one to gamble (been inside and with friends but not on my own for proper gambling). Convenience like you said is the primary reason we're all here online chatting about gambling

I like the social aspect of gambling online too. This is why I never stay in an online casino that has no chatty players. I know it's silly but I like chatting while rolling dice.

Both sides has some pros and cons with online gambling there's a risk of the casino owner running away with the funds and for traditional gambling you still have to drive for several minutes to at least an hour before you can gamble. If I have to compare the two i'll go with online gambling immediately because there's not a lot of casinos. The closest place you can gamble here is by going to a lottery booth. Online gambling together with Bitcoin provides convenience for me and my gambling needs.

But where gambling is illegal for them online gambling is the only way to gamble because in real world gambling where gambling is illegal playing their is very risky as if the gambling house is in loosing side they will start all the mess to avoid their loss.

the differences between online and traditional gambling are in online gambling, you don't have to go to the gambling places and you only need to stay in front of your pc or laptop and you can play the games and you can play in everywhere you like as long as there is an internet connection. I prefer to play online gambling because I can stay at my home while I can do other things and I don't have to tell my activity to other people. maybe there are advantages and disadvantages between online and traditional gambling and so far, I only play gambling in the online gambling sites.

Is it really that expensive to just go to a casino and play slots for a couple of hours? I would think that you'd also have games with low bet limits at regular casinos.
The problem with regular casinos is that you really can't know what the house edge is on some games.

Maybe you do eventually spend more at a regular casino, since everything is just organized that way.

I don't want to used the word bored here as online gamblers might be upset, but that's how I feel when I'm playing online gambling. As compare to a traditional casino wherein, once you feel bored on let's say a slot machine, you can switch and go the table. I know this is also available in online games but sometimes you need to have like a change in the atmosphere which a online games cannot offer. Besides there are free drinks in a traditional casino. Grin

Online gambling cannot replace traditional casinos. It is all about environment and the feel a person gets. Real time is a lot different from virtual soup. In digital world, we just copy and try to make things look like the real ones but definitely, it is impossible to give hundred percent reality. Land based casinos are preferred over online ones due to the thrill, excitement and fun it offers.

I prefer online gambling, I don't know why but I felt exhausted when I was with a group of people maybe I'm not like those social persons. But it's not like I hate traditional gambling, I once tried it and I also enjoyed playing with my friends and other co-gamblers.

depends on the people when is comfortable or prepared to play gamble, my analysis some people are choosing traditional gambling than online gambling specially the old man because can't understand well to use new technology but those people knowledgeable to use computer they choose online gambling.

Both are entirely different thing. Traditional gambling is far more diverse than online gambling option. Also traditional gambling is a measure of social status and you will hardly find people from lower income group inside a casino. Whereas online gambling has made gambling more accessible to all segment of the society where people can come and play with lower stakes and without any prejudice about their competitors.

Also the next thing difference is the availability. Casinos are not present everywhere. If I want to visit a casino, I will have to go to a different state of my country. Also I will need to have a certain amount in my bankroll which is way huge for a middle class person like me. So here online gambling comes handy by providing convenience to the gamblers.
