Blockchain.info is a secure wallet to store your bitcoins, i have been using it for years since i was a newbie and didnt encounter any issues.

It has several features, private keys control and mobile app for our convenience.

They might have some bugs from time to time but it's only happening occasionally. I consider them as a very trusted web wallet but still don't be too confident with them when you are holding too much bitcoin. You never experienced any problem and issues with them, well that's rare for me as most of the people here experienced the same bugs. But when it comes to convenience, I like them and they have a very friendly support where you can asked anything when your problem isn't on the FAQs.

Best online wallet for me is also blockchain.info, clear interface, low transactions costs. Too bad they only support bitcoin and ethereum, would be nice if they would support other coins such as litecoin.

Yeah blockchain.info is good choice for an online wallet but it just support btc and eth so I would suggest try coinomi wallet as it supports wide array of coins at the same time you can buy some coins here directly to shapeshift and changelly as they're like tied up.
And with the fees it only have a small fees compared from other wallets that I tried.

blockchain.info supports private key, but in fact all online wallets have security doubt.

Ever since blockchain.info switched to HD wallets, they have no longer have this export option but there are still ways to access your private keys as long as you have your backup phrase like using this tool https://github.com/iancoleman/bip39 or importing it on electrum by ticking the BIP39 seed on options

How much is the transfer fee at blockchain.info?

Their fee estimation is far from accurate so your transaction will most likely be stucked if you followed it. Better use some guides and manually set your fee.

From some web wallet I've ever used, I can say that blockchain.info is the best, besides the transaction cost with blockchain is cheaper than xapo, btc.com, space and coinbase.

Definitely use blockchain.info because it supports private keys and you will have the acces to it as much as possible you can even import or export this wallet if you have grown fond to it you hold the actuall authority of youre wallet . Have also an app that is probably secured because you can also export and import private keys the name is mycelium wallet. Though i am using coins.ph wallet because it is available on my country and has cashout branches supported

blockchain.info is the best online wallet and although if we save it in exchanges is safe too but we need to separate our bitcoin to another wallet, especially if we have more than 5 bitcoin. we don't want our bitcoin is getting hack or if the exchanges getting hack and this is why we need to divide our bitcoin into other wallet. but don't forget that there is many wallet that you can use and mycelium is the best wallet also so you don't have to worried about the security of each wallet.

Best online wallet for me is also blockchain.info, clear interface, low transactions costs.

Before I'm not using them when I was quite new to bitcoin because I keep on following a lot of suggestions that are just leading me to coinbase which I really don't like. But upon gaining some knowledge about bitcoin I found it out that it has the blockchain technology and I thought it that blockchain.info is the one that runs the whole network so I did created my wallet and in the end I'm satisfied with my experience there and up until now I have my account there.

Too bad they only support bitcoin and ethereum, would be nice if they would support other coins such as litecoin.

It's not even bad because they adopted ethereum recently.
Online wallet is the actor of all the transaction in crypto world, like for example the COIN WALLET it is very good to have them not only it can receive and send money,  it can also used pay bills, bank money transfer buy cellphone load and almost everything.. its all on your finger tips!

Only if we’re in the same country, I will recommend you to try coins.ph, it works really great and have experienced none major problem. If it is not possible, Coinbase be my second choice as I’m using it but be ready for a much higher transaction fees and can be minimised if you will transact much bigger bitcoin.

I’m an online wallet users than a more secured hardware wallet but because I’m more practical than security conscious I choose online wallet.

I have some advice to you. Use a paper wallet or hardware wallet if you've got significant holdings. Using online wallet means, you have no control over your coins, that's why you shouldn't be using an exchange because you don't own the key. However, You may use blockchain.info
Completely agree with you, online wallet might be good for storing little amount/spendable but it's very risky, we all know that blockchain give your access to your private key but it was went down due to DNS attack and I'm scared if the site is offline forever. So if you want to store huge balance I recommend to use electrum or hard wallet, for little amount blockchain is better if we compare to exchanger or other centralized wallets.

Hey, if you are from India, then I would suggest you to try online wallets like unocoin or coinsecure. These wallets are very secure and definitely they wont run with the funds because they are closely monitored by Indian government, even though there are no regulations. The transaction fees in coinsecure is also very low, around  10000 satoshi and its fixed.

Tried with blockchain however it isnt accepting my payment. To do transaction more than £50 it says I have to do it via bank transfer. But it wants some details such as photo of some id such as driving license. Is this safe to provide?

If You don't want to use any centralizes wallet then go for decentralized one(one that provides private key) lEg: Bitcoin Core. Safe and reliable.
I think it will solve all your problem.
For a starter, I would not recommend core wallet as it is a heavy one. There are so many light desktop wallets out there such as electrum and exodus that are decentralized and they are so good and easy to use most especially for anyone trying to find their way around with wallets easily.

Just my own piece of advice anyway, except you want to download the whole blockchain into your system, then it is best you go for a light desktop wallet.

We're talking about web wallet and most likely most of peoples would said Blockchain.info because is already well known as better online wallet compared with their rivals like coinbase and xapo. Which both of them has their own problems like poor support, however Blockchain.info also has problem too.

How much  £ worth did you guys buy initially. I'm all new to this so don't want to take a huge risk.

What are you predictions for future?

I buy bitcoins when we are on the dips so the last time was $3,000 and it is not late to keep on buying for yourself.

If you are asking about the predictions about the future of bitcoin's price then you should read some good information and speculations at the speculations board.

This link will redirect you there https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=57.0

1 last question....have you heard about anybody loosing coin value in the online wallet?

Yes but only sort of bug but not hacked.
