No one can predict BITCOIN future price. It could be ZERO or can reach to $10,000. No clear stand of central authorities resists investors to invest big amt in it.

Back in Bitcoin's early days people were well justified saying that Bitcoin could either end up being worthless, or worth a lot -- nowadays Bitcoin has proven to be worthy of its existence due to the constantly increasing demand. Another thing, the well experienced Bitcoiners don't care about whatever central authority, which is one of the main reasons of why they are in Bitcoin. Other than that, you should advice the person you quoted to not use online wallets to hold coins as in long term storage.

How much  £ worth did you guys buy initially. I'm all new to this so don't want to take a huge risk.

What are you predictions for future?

1 last question....have you heard about anybody loosing coin value in the online wallet?

Just 1 Advice: Invest the amt. that you can afford to lose(in worst scenario) Initially, start with small amt. and understand the crypto market, and if it appeals you then invest further otherwise step back.

No one can predict BITCOIN future price. It could be ZERO or can reach to $10,000. No clear stand of central authorities resists investors to invest big amt in it.

Tried with blockchain however it isnt accepting my payment. To do transaction more than £50 it says I have to do it via bank transfer. But it wants some details such as photo of some id such as driving license. Is this safe to provide?

If You don't want to use any centralizes wallet then go for decentralized one(one that provides private key) lEg: Bitcoin Core. Safe and reliable.
I think it will solve all your problem.

What is best online wallet to store bitcoin? I know most will say online wallet is the least safe however as I am starting out with very little money I just want 1 which is secure and easy to use.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Why do you need an online wallet for when you can use SPV Bitcoin wallets? It is not like you are limited to either full blockchain wallets or full online wallets.
We have great middle ground - when you want to use wallet on your smartphone then SPV wallets have mobile versions too. You are no longer bound to use web service.
Just install Electrum and you won't have to worry about the lesser security of 3rd party Bitcoin wallet.

From some web wallet I've ever used, I can say that blockchain.info is the best, besides the transaction cost with blockchain is cheaper than xapo, btc.com, space and coinbase.

I know almost everyone will tell you blockchain.info. No doubt they have been around for a while and have been able to get their client's loyalty with their great support. However, you should know that this wallet does not give you full control over your funds and if you are planning to store for long, I will advise you use at least a desktop wallet and if you have some cash to spare, try a hardware wallet. For a newbie though, blockchain should work best for you but consider all I have said later on.

There's really no reason to use blockchain.info, even for short term use. There are lightweight desktop wallets that instantly sync which are far more secure, and which have better UI. Electrum is one example.

However, I wouldn't say you don't have full control of your funds with blockchain.info. They don't control your private keys. The main security issue that I can see is potential MITM attacks if their service is compromised. If you don't control the software that signs and broadcasts your transactions, your transactions can be hijacked.

Are you sure? I think it's not Blockchain fault, because there is no exchange payment on Blockchain as far as I know (the latest update is about adding Ethereum). I think you were using third party service on advertisement section at Blockchain dashboard.
This will be the problem if he uses a other service to buy bitcoin and still didn't receive any bitcoin from his account it means the site where you buy bitcoin are scam..

Much better to give us the link of the site where you buy or exchange your money into bitcoin.. so that we can know if the site is legit or not..
There are many scammers outside these days and hoping you are not victim of those scammers..

I use some web wallet services ie xapo, coinbase and blockchain. of all the web wallet, I think Xapo better because it requires us to verify the identity and must install the application on android to get 2FA. In terms of delivery cost, I think almost the same ie about 0.0007 - 0.0012 btc for high priotity.

That's a bizarre reason to like Xapo. If you want to use their BTC/fiat exchange services, then sure, it makes sense to verify your identity. But if you just want a lite wallet, you should retain your privacy.

As far as fees, you can also pay much lower fees by using a desktop wallet like Electrum. During low congestion periods, you can pay <5 satoshis per byte and get confirmed in the next block. Even during times of moderate congestion, you can usually get confirmed within 10 blocks or so. It's never necessary to pay as high of fees as Xapo charges.
Comparin Xapo with Electrum is too on par knowing that Xapo is an exchange wallet which they would normally charge higher than on the usual fee compared on electrum which you can actually adjust the fees and same as you said <5 satoshis per byte would really be just enough but depending on networks situation if its congested or not this would really depend on the situation.

For online wallet, i prefer blockchain.info. This wallet is the best web/online wallet so far, 4 years using blockchain.info and never had an issue in this wallet. For dekstop wallet, i recommend electrum wallet. Easy to use and don't need to download all blocks which is takes a long time to do that.

What are you predictions for future?

Many have told that for the next 2-5 years we will see bitcoin stable at $10,000 and it can even go $50,000.

1 last question....have you heard about anybody loosing coin value in the online wallet?

Value of bitcoin? I not only heard it but I experienced it and saw my bitcoin's value is falling but it's not losing. Because the price of bitcoin is unstable, is this what you mean? Btw, have you ever chose your own wallet now? Answers are just repeating with coinbase, blockchain.info and electrum.

If you are newbie than try either coinbase or blockchain wallet because they have user friendly interface.

But if you like to hold your bitcoin for longer time in secure way than use electrum as hot wallet and paper or hardware wallet as cold wallet.

Blockchain is a bitcoin account providers site that can say the most popular. Most bitcoin transactions by bitcoiners use a wallet from Blockchain. We can also see a list of other bitcoiners accounts on the homepage of the site. Simple view and user friendly make this site a choice of the bitcoiners to open a bitcoin account.

Cryptopay.me and Bitwala.io are some other online wallets that you may be interested in:

- Cryptopay allows you have an account in dollar, euro, GPB and Bitcoin within the same account. You can transfer from/to your own bank account as well to have a Visa card.

- Bitwala has about the same service (Bitcoin wallet, Visa card, buying/selling your bitcoins from/to your bank account). One of the main advantages about Bitwala is you have your private keys and there are not a lot of wallets offering this feature, which is a very good point.

Both are user-friendly, simple to use and have an efficient support to their users

Never get trading advises from strangers. And never invest what you don't afford to lose.
This being said the numbers differ greatly from person to person and the answer is irrelevant.

What are you predictions for future?

Some predict even $500000 for one BTC in the next 5 years, but that may be too much. Or not.
Some predict that Bitcoin will fall badly in less than one year.
I can't really tell which one is right; I would like to know myself...

1 last question....have you heard about anybody loosing coin value in the online wallet?

Losing.. value? The coin value changes from second to second wherever you keep it. If you count in USD. But you don't mean that, don't you?
Wallets should not be "leaking" Smiley, I never heard of that. Just you have to check for transfer fees. Every transaction costs money and you have to add that too into calculation.
