Well if the op still has this amount of bitcoin that he mentioned then i am sure glad to hear it has gone up in value. His $0.45 cents will now be worth about $2.00 at today's bitcoin price. This only comes to show it really does pay to hodl them bitcoins for the future as the value tends to go up.

That is really very little, which is not enough to complete a successful transaction. I will say that you wait to be accepted into a campaign where you will be paid in bitcoin or you buy some satoshi to keep you up. Or if you have some good skills to offer, that will get you more bitcoin. Faucets are waist of time.

In my opinion, you have a very valuable access which is your time. So, dont waste it to play around with 0.000149 btc since the value it brings back to you is very low. On the other hand, you should use your time to do other jobs to make money and by more btc when the price is low.

When having at least 0.005 btc, you can start trading to make more btc.

Correct, while there is nothing you can do with that amount of money that does not mean you need to accept that as all the bitcoin you are ever going to have, if you have the time you can do much to increase that amount, join a signature campaign, try to get some bounties or offer your services in the forum and very soon you are going to have a lot more than that small amount of bitcoin.

Don't settle for less and aim for more! You are already a Member Rank in this forum. You can join signature campaigns to earn Bitcoins. There are also lots of airdrops recently which gave free money. You can also try to join on it and if you have skills especially about computer programming and coding, you can use it to earn Bitcoin. There are many ways. You only need to maximize your resources such as your skills, time and knowledge.

You did not mention who holds your coins are or which distributor you had, but if you were to purchase a bit more and hodl, you coins will accumulate handsomely.

Well, to be honest, your BTC is too miniscule to even cover the Bitcoin's transaction fee.

If you really want to gain more bitcoins, you can either:

1. Trading Bitcoin on various altcoins exchange platforms
2. Leasing Bitcoin to other people
3. Collect satoshis from various faucets
4. Play the dice rolling/betting games (you need to think thrice before do it!)
5. Ask for donation in your website/blog

You were right, it is not even enough to cover transaction fees. Just hold on to it and try to earn more using different methods. If you do not have enough funds to start trading, you can do offers, surveys, microtasks, faucets if you are patient and eventually your held bitcoin will grow. extra patience is needed.

I think you should forget about if or try to earn more to make the amount of BTC in your wallet bigger cause this amount is still not enough to pay for transaction fee which often cost at least 0.0003 BTC for each transaction you make. There is not much you can do with that amount of BTC. I don't think you have the transaction fee covered for that amount. You may want to build up your BTC balance and then you can transfer it to the exchange and start trading to build your wealth.

there is nothing you can do with the amount of bitcoin like that, because it's just for bitcoin delivery cost just so it's better just save your bitcoin and wait for you to get more bitcoin just do trading or sell your bitcoin to money.
