There are still a lot of factors to be considered aside from its maturity and regulation. How about keeping its morale and reputation strong and efficient. After all what matters is the service and sincerity we provide.

I do not totally agree with it, Don't get me wrong I understand your point that matured and regulated market would definitely have lesser risk but then again my perspective is that there is no perfect scenario in this crypto currency industry, it all comes with the positives and negatives for every given scenario so it will all boils down to your own perspective and reactions on the things happening infront of you.

Please add up the cheap market price for cryptocurrency. As the market price has been so cheap now after having a huge fall down and there are back log of money circulating from the investors to crypto and now it was being pull back by the investors this made the back log where market price stay down for a while now.

Why would any big player invest in crypto when the risk is so huge, there is literally zero safety, any exchange can run away with your money and you can barely do anything.

In exactly what area of Cryptocurrency do investors find so risky to invest in?  What is so risky about investing in Cryptocurrency Exchange, Marketplace, Mining, hardware production, Social Media etc.. If it's so risky for them they wouldn't be rushing into Cryptocurrency. You speak as if the Crypto World is in desperate need of the investors.

Regulations bring sanity. I am quite certain that we will never have this much cryptocurrency exchanges if there are cryptocurrency regulatory bodies because so many of them would never meet up with the requirements in the first place and the available few will be very reliable. Same goes for ICOs.

Mature and regulated crypto isn't the only factor that can't make big investors come.

There are big players out there that are still speculating and they are not prepared for the market and they assumes the outcome already. As much as possible they are calculating risk and most of all, they are not well versed and knowledgeable with the market.

There are big players who are already a while in Cryto and might partly be the reason why the bull market has turned into a bear market. The reason are Futures, since this year large financial institutions are able to bet on the price of Bitcoin Futures without risking any of their funds to be stolen or hacked at any of the many still immature exchanges. They simply „short“ Bitcoin and profit when the price goes down. I am in the financial market already more than a decade market and I know my stuff a little bit. George Soros and others who believed in January that Bitcoin is overpriced and went in and bet against it. I have no 100% proof but everything indicates towards it. Do your research and you will come to your own conclusions.

As part of my job I am talking to many clients everyday, some with backround in trading and investment, and I am amazed how few people see this connection.

The futures are seen as higher risk contracts than other products so some mainstream investors don't like to get involved with them. Certainly, they would represent a lower level of risk than exchanges that arbitrarily determine the price, but they still have very large exposures and you need deep pockets to be able to handle a large move with a futures contract. That's why this ETF thing is getting so much attention. It's a "medium risk" product (although in reality there is no such thing as medium risk)

Another interesting valuation of bitcoin that no one seems to notice is the Chinese Yuan. Capital flight out of China has found a new vehicle--bitcoin. Compare the USD/CNY & USD/BTC back in Dec & Jan and you'll see that they both made major moves at nearly the same time.

Obviously as an investor you understand there are risks but out of all the exchanges out there, i can think of 2-3 that I would personally trust with my money and in my case we are only talking about thousands, imagine a big player with millions using etherdelta or some other retarded exchange, no way that will ever happen. Even big exchanges like bittrex, not long ago, they fucked up and made everyone wait months and months to get your account enabled or verified. Why would any big player invest in crypto when the risk is so huge, there is literally zero safety, any exchange can run away with your money and you can barely do anything.

Most of the ico's that has a very promising platform are all getting a huge amount of investors and that is the reason why they are succeeding at their project.

Considering how much money involved in the crypto market, some governments have issued regulations and laws to supervise the exchanges in their State. Everyone can access exchange reviews and the detail of each exchange such as supported countries, payment methods accepted, fees, customer support, limits, privacy (KYC) and if there any past issues. Treat exchanges as a place to transact, not to store the coins.
Big investors are welcome to invest or buy bitcoin through some licensed exchanges, what does really matter is whether they want to invest in bitcoin or not, referring to the value and usability in short, mid and long-term
I think simply where there are profits there are big investors. The more profitable they are to get into them.
However, they are very intelligent and the possibility of failure is very small. Since they are big investors, they understand the problems in this area is too simple to succeed. I think so.

Season investors are very wise enough and will choose the most prominent, matured and regulated cryptos in the market ,yhis cryptos would attract the old investors ,because this investor will make sure that their money will not be put in chaos because of this rising cryptos ,so they will preferrably choose the matured cryptos like bitcoin.

It is quite obvious. The only question is how exactly the arrival of institutional investors will affect the development of the market as a whole. All the same, the idea of a crypto currency is initially far from corporate interests.

You have a point because we can't deny the fact that investors nowadays are smart and they always choose an ico which they think is profitable and has an active team. They would choose to invest in an Ico with definite foundation and listed in a top exchanger.
And in my opinion, they are mostly experienced one. So they know better how to tackle situations in differents cenarios and conditions. And it is often rather every time advice here not to jump over here without having any solid knowledge of what you are going to do. Better is to make sure and had a proper research about something you are getting in. May the odds are in favor of these smart traders.

Yes that sounds very wise, all the biggest world investors when their billions of Dollars, they would not come here if they would know that they would have the possibility of losing their money in one week.

I think the need of the hour currently are the decentralised exchanges which are really dynamic and can cater some high amount of volume and amounts. Basically currently the best DEX we have is IDEX but that too has a very poor trading interface. Regulation can only come with a decentralised platform otherwise these big exchanges will always manipulate the market using bots, whales and make money out of it. Remember whale dumps and pumps are impossible without help of exchanges. These happen because all exchanges care about is their fees.

IDEX works fine, I used it a couple times and it's good, however you can see the downsides, you will never be able to trade for real on IDEX or any other decentralized exchange. Payfair is also trying right now but people just don't seem that interested. For a market that thinks ''decentralization is the best'' they don't seem too interested in decentralization lol.

I agree. It is not only to regulate exchanges it is about to regulate trading
Now exchanges want KYC govs want taxes pay.But exchanges allow any kind of illegal trading
Govs are mostly saying crypto  is poising risk but they want our money and they don't want to regulate crypto in whatever way.I can say common crypto is here and is going to stay
So do something to make it legal instead of avoiding problem

What are the indications of a certain mature crypto? Regulation or being adopted with such rules or laws of government doesnt really be consider to be a mature one yet this would only be just like traditional investments either assets or securities.
Not a necessary thing for a crypto to be regulated before it would able to get big investors. Have you seen some project in the market do able to get a big funding or support of investors? There are some projects do achieve this.
