Personally I don't think your idea is good. I always like revolutions. And stopping revolution means creating a separated environment in this case it'll be only for old and experienced or probably wealthy guys to head over into Crypto currency by putting new comers aside means less participation which will lead all Crypto currencies to the less adoption which is not so good cause less adoption is equal to more likely useless. And our Crypto currency world will be limited which we don't want actually that's why this forum even still have a separate section for altcoin. And if for global warming you want us to stop adapting new coins then I'll suggest you to research more we already have some algos for energy efficiency and less heating, btw peoples are still mining Bitcoin and it'll continue like this and there are many other major reasons behind global warming so I urge you to research a bit more about that if you're really careful about it. Last but not the least no one can stop revolution, new things will always come in place of old that's how things on this world goes and nothing can stop it.
Propably not, Probably yes, community will decide finally,but one thing is sure, Revolution is a word very complex,Everybody knows that peoples spend hours and hours in front of computers,tablets,smartphones,etc,,, it is not healthy, so Internet must help to make easy things, dont more complex like crypto, BTC begin revolution, but unfortunately everybody begun to clone again again and again an it was used by scamers until today,
please let me speak about other context, Global Warming is not a game, do you want a planet to Marth like? Burned? I know that Sunflares affect
earth, but I dont need be a scientific to know that human interaction affect too, thousands or millions of PC's turn on 24 hours to day, it simply
wasn´t in past, so we need some calculations about disiped heat in it, is like to peoples think in waste water because is there a lot in ocean, it is

Now speaking again of crypto about adoption massive or less or more adoption, you dont need more coins to do this.......
even BTC faucets give hundred of Sat all days,anothers alcoins do too,think in all coins of free distribution.If you stop new coins you are not stopping revolution you are stopping only scam and anothers kind of problems.It will do crypto more easy, if you have less coins, trust exchanges,
trust pools,etc,etc, if you keep it without control you will have more and more scam such as now.
Yes community has already decided it pal. And man Revolution isn't that complex. We're living in the world of machines and just because of the Revolution we've achieved so many things. We can't pass a single minute without machines, yeah we all know that radiation of mobiles are really harmful for our health but still that doesn't stop us from using it, what does it? We can rather use it safely for less harm like putting it far from us while sleeping or like switch it off while we're not using it or like not using it all while there's weak network and bla bla bla. But we still need to use and new mobiles are coming frequently in markets just because we're buying it for it's new feature and looks that's a bit of Revolution too. So as you can see there's no way stop new things from coming. And we've to deal with it properly. Even I like 70s and 80s and I wish again I could be there using a time machine or something like that where less competition and everything is so cool, but that's next to impossible and we've to move forward not to head backward.
Now coming to adoption, yes adoption is necessary for wide spread and making things for useful. And someone can earn max 0.0365 sats per year which is equivalent to $17 around if he's getting like 0.0001 from faucets where some one can even make 1 bitcoin in a month or so just by adapting new altcoin. Now that's ridiculous, isn't it? Yeah we've too much scam coins but we can ignore all those new coins which doesn't bring any new feature or something like that or probably more heat generating algos instead of stop adapting all new coins.

Yes you can make 1 bitcoin for month or more, it is problem, only a few,sames peoples can do it, again and again and it dont make any sense,finally you are getting BTC and are spreading to word only coins without value is it fair? of course is not, so is it idea? take profits of new
adopters.Besides worst thing that are doing is that peoples wasting his time and waste energy doing that Global Warming is affected.
