Yup don't just click without enough visual, If you consider it will be better than having your bitcoin being lost and send to a wrong address... Anyway it should take a day or a little more to confirm and it may get cancelled if the size is small...

A lot of people has been complaining about the transactions and confirmation times.
I'm probably luck because my transactions have been going on without much delay.

of course you don't want to pay fees just like the rest of us  Grin
but was wondering if returning the btc back to your wallet is considered a transaction still and won't it ask fees for returning it back to your wallet?

So I saw the Bitcoin price dropping yet again so I figured I should transfer it to Gemini just in case it really started to tank. But my stupid fat fingers accidentally hit the "send without transaction tax" option and now my bitcoins are floating in space on the interwebs all by their lonesome. It's been 8 hours. I read somewhere that it can take up to 3 days if i'm correct? Well lesson learned, turn on the light and have some coffee before messing with my phone.  Grin

Sorry I didn't have time to go through all the posts, but which Android app allows you to "send without fee"? Just want to find out since I always wanting to do that but all other wallets will need at least 100 bits as fee...
Lol really you got the point, even I was thinking so without fees how come it happened may be there is system failure, but really big question how come it happened any way if we receive the money back than its not the problem it will make us wait for 3 to 5 days .

This happens with people. Sometimes people due to their urgency also end up with such difficulties.
Better to use in the desktop or laps which will be better

You do not have to worry. Everything will turn out fine. I understand that feeling as the same kind of thing happened to me

So my coins arrived at Gemini, and Gemini is offline for maintenance. LOL, the Universe doesn't want me having access to my coins, Although I do see the price has rebounded nicely, so maybe the Universe likes me.  Grin

Well you can't time the market, I don't get why you tried to short when selling Bitcoin is always a mistake. Also isn't RBF already operative? (replace by fee), you could look into that. I have never used it yet.

In fact it is a bit odd that your smartphone bitcoin wallet doesn't have a button to do just that. but don't worry, it can get some time for those bitcoins to find their way, but they eventually will. anayways, next time check it twice

Don't worry OP. You'll basically get your BTC back after 2-5 days if they don't confirm (they won't).

I would never do any kind of important transaction under a phone, only if the amount of money is not enough to be a tragedy to lose. It's really easy to miss-click with phones, they are shit to be honest, nothing better than a mouse to do this kind of stuff. I would never go into an exchange in a portable device

Yes that sucks, I once send 0.02 to someone and I copy and pasted the address from a email he send me, and I only copied part of the address, because I was in a hurry. It warned me that the address was wrong, and I checked it quickly and just added the last number and clicked send. Not seeing that the last number was on the next line.

It completed the address and I send it to the dump site for idiots. Some day, some lucky bugger will pick up some free coins, when he generates that address. Lesson learned, do not do financial transactions when you just woke up.

Maybe someone in 1 million years or so Wink,

What wallet are you using out of interest, im using mycelium and as far as im aware there is no option to send without a fee. i used one before that looked kind of like bitcoin core but for android but imo id say mycelium is better since your forced to write down the word seed and not lose any bitcoin if the catastrophicwas to occur.

All I can say is that that was very unfortunate. Your Bitcoins will be stuck in transaction-land for 3+ days. After that, you will get all your Bitcoins back. I don't even why there was an option for no fees. Whatever Bitcoin service you are using is pretty stupid.

So my coins arrived at Gemini, and Gemini is offline for maintenance. LOL, the Universe doesn't want me having access to my coins, Although I do see the price has rebounded nicely, so maybe the Universe likes me.  Grin
You are just extremely unlucky man. At lease you got your coins back, that was the main problem and now it is solved.
Yeah, that was so unfortunate. But why do you keep smiling even tho you're in an unlucky situation?
