Anybody with a R9 290 or R9 280X or Radeon 7970 can run that SilentArmy miner?

I can't get this performance from silent army kernel
Quote
45.7 Sol/s with one R9 Nano
39.6 Sol/s with one RX 480

Really numbers for my RX470/R480 rig is
Quote
[GPU 0] T=-1C A=-1% sols=29.270
[GPU 1] T=-1C A=-1% sols=28.170
[GPU 2] T=-1C A=-1% sols=26.733
[GPU 3] T=-1C A=-1% sols=27.710

From SILENTARMY readme: Note: the code is currently very poorly optimized; it makes zero attempts to keep the queue of OpenCL commands full, therefore one needs to run 2 instances of SILENTARMY in parallel on the same GPU to keep it well utilized.

23+23 = ~46 (2 instances)
and ~27 for inly one instance
with silentarmy --nonces 1000

You a right:
Quote
[GPU 0] T=-1C A=-1% sols=20.456
(ST/INV/DUP): 10x 0ch(0/0/0)
[GPU 0] T=-1C A=-1% sols=20.300
(ST/INV/DUP): 6x 0ch(0/0/0)

Really 40 sol/s on RX470.
But this silent army code sometimes crashes (after 20-30 minutes work), need a bat file for auto restarting Smiley

Yes..i have some crashes too...
Really looking forward to when you release a new version   Wink Wink Wink

Has anybody tried more than 2 instances? Will the three instances faster than the 2 instances as suggested?

No. Slower.

weird, I'm running a rig with 4 gpus, 3 x 290 and 1 x 390. When hashing It shows gpu 0 and gpu 1 at 9.8 sols. AND gpu 3 and 4 at 16.5 each. Any reason why this mite be? lol

also testing a CPU on Nicehash/miner and getting 17.23 sols AMD 8320 7 cores mining......

can someone compile this miner for windows ?

you will still need to make wallet in linux, as far as i understand.

Bittrex will probably be adding it to their exchange soon after launch, so just use Bittrex's wallet?

Also Poloniex is adding Z cash tomorrow. So you can create a wallet with them.

Most likely any GPUs before the 7xxx series won't work. Like the 6xxx or 5xxx series...

I'll just use suprnova pool to mine and when I get an address will add to it. Ocminer is trustworthy.

The miner itself needs an address in the config file

ocminer's miner needs just a worker user/pass. I have no windows amd gpu miner Sad

That's correct. Just set your payout threshold up high and store coins on pool wallet until a windows wallet is released.

Does anyone know if you can actually hash on Suprnova with any GPU miners ? He says in his getting started the Nheqminer is CPU and GPU but???

Does anyone know if there is a way to tell this miner to mine at a username and worker number instead of an address? (For mining at suprnova)
