I may be wrong but I would definitely go with the former Osmosis. Why? Its the future and it has some features Tezos would dream about.
This is not financial advice please

Hello,
Thank you so much for your reply.
What features does Osmosis have that Tezos would dream them?

I'll choose Tezos.
I'm into staking coins and that's why if I'll choose, I've known more Tezos than Osmosis. Looks like Osmosis is also a good project but I haven't yet done my whole research on it.
I've just based a few details on its website and on its ranking through coinmarketcap + the volume it's got.

Osmosis also gives a pretty nice interest if you stake them. I currently have a few Osmosis on my Atmoic Wallet and there i get 22% APY as interest for staking them (for Cosmos you also get 22% on Atomic Wallet at the moment). I do not own any Tezos but i just made a quick google search and it seems that the staking APY for Tezos is "only" at around 3%.
I don't know though which of those 2 projects is the better project for the longterm. Tezos is a own blockchain that had a huge ICO round a few years ago but since then it became more and more quiet around Tezos. Osmosis is a DEX on the Cosmos Interchain. So if Cosmos will do well Osmosis should do well too.

Hello,
Osmosis has a bright future or Tezos? Which is a stronger project?
Any idea welcomed.

Thank you.
Fundamentals of Tezoz are definitely better than Osmosis, because Tezoz deserves to be ranked 52 Coinmartcap,
but if you want to invest long-term maybe Osmosis can be your second choice, because if you look at the Osmo chart it really has the potential to reach more than $ 2,
and now Osmo only costs under $ 1 to be precise at $ 0.73, of course this is a good opportunity for you to buy.

Hello all,
Thank you so much for all replies.
I guess Tezos is better and I have another question:
Does it make sense to convert Tron to Tezos? The potential of Tron is more or Tezos?

I will go with Tezos I can list some reasons:

  • You will find more of their ads and therefore the chance of choosing them is higher than osmosis.
  • All Time Low/All Time High is closer to Bitcoin, while in osmosis the result is volatile and appears as if a currency is trying to prove itself.
  • Although osmosis has Max Supply, it is far too short to deliver in the short term.

The Osmosis's current staking reward is 20.07%, but Tezos is 5.87%.
What is the goal of Osmosis and Tezos projects?

This is an additional and sufficient reason to stay away from it, as the platforms that give a high staking reward are looking for liquidity in the form of hot money and are therefore more susceptible to a quick correction in the medium term.

I will still prefer osmosis rather than tezos. Tezos has no user. it's a bunch of crap. osmosis is even better and it has bigger users compared with tezos. None used tezos for smartcontract interaction now. tezos can be considered as failed project. Please put this arsenal as a mandatory for you to read it before try to invest in tezos https://www.legitgambling.com/news/how-tezos-foundation-brought-seemingly-failed-project-back-on-track/

You shall avoid to waste your money to buy tezos. Osmosis has very big chance to grow during the bullrun.

Yes but eventually the more people that stakes Osmosis, it will drop down eventually.

I'd take 5.87% of stake for Tezos and that's realistic to me and I've got no problem if it suddenly drops some more. And to know more what they are up to and what are their goals, you can visit their websites and read some info there.

Thank you.
Both good project but id you are aiming for a blue chip then go for tezos. But in terms of multiplier gains osmosis will be a greater choice but with risk. Its a dex on cosmos and one of the best dex out there being used on a non decentralized space. But if youll gonna ask me then I'll spare funds for both of them cause they arent rivals or what in terms of services and product.

What is the goal of Osmosis and Tezos projects?
Osmosis and Tezos are two distinct blockchain projects with different goals.

The goal of Osmosis is to provide a decentralized exchange (DEX) platform for the Cosmos ecosystem. On the other hand, the goal of Tezos is to provide a self-amending blockchain that can evolve over time without requiring hard forks. In summary, while Osmosis aims to provide a DEX platform within the Cosmos ecosystem, Tezos aims to be a more sustainable and democratic blockchain that can evolve over time without requiring hard forks.

Tezos and Osmosis are both blockchain platforms. Tezos is a decentralized, open-source blockchain network that uses a proof-of-stake consensus algorithm. Osmosis is an inter-blockchain decentralized exchange (DEX) built using CosmosSDK. Osmosis allows cross-chain trades and offers asset pool customization. However, Osmosis was recently exploited, resulting in a loss of approximately $5 million

Osmosis and Tezos have different characteristics and applications in the crypto world, and it's important for investors to conduct thorough research and analysis to determine which one aligns with their investment objectives and risk appetite. Factors such as technology, adoption, and community support should be considered before making a decision.
