yes, the increase last year was very unreasonable as there was already a scenario that the coins would be pumped, I would rather invest in other coins than ripple, let's say eth, link, xlm neo.

I think that it is a good investment.

Most of the capital that will be flowing into the crypto markets will be as a result of institutions investing. With how ripple has prioritised themselves with integrating with global financial intermediaries, it would make sense that they are positively affected as a result of the influx of funds from the market as well.

Over the long run, decentralized coins may perform better though.

if the prediction isnt based on good reason, then no one will believe it

The largest 3-rd cryptocurrency will worth to make an investment decision. The profitability wouldn't be the same as the investing in the low marketcap altcoins but it will safer to invest in the top altcoins. It doesn't worth to invest in the BTC due to the dead market volatility but the XRP will soar better in the bull market.

Although I am not much of a fan, xrp is at the top of the appropriate altcoins to invest. The current price is very low, and this is one of the biggest reasons to pump its price when there is an increase. At the same time look at other top altcoins as well.
