Exactly. Even if you will use some money to be able to play the game you still can't guarantee a return on investment or profits.
There are a lot of P2E (Play-to-earn) before that turned to become scams or become non-profitable, there are a lot of people who lost a lot of money because of these.
So, either you lost time or money or both time and money playing P2E.

I've already started playing Ni No Kuni. The game is great, well polished, beautiful on its style, and reminded MIR4 even more on its features, although not only on the positive aspects, unfortunatelly, since the game is taken by bots everywhere. But as you said, it all depend on how developers handle the issue. I just hope they aren't negligent like WeMade, which is the developer company of MIR4. I'm lvl 29 right now with swordsman class.

Thanks for this another suggestion, I'm going to follow Guild of Legends from now on to start playing as soon as they release it. They are still in pre-alpha tests.

regardless though, most of these NFTs projects are already losing most of its value so consider

if youre not a health buff individual, the stepn project won't be a good choice also. so it depends on your passion and where you think you can support maybe long-term. p2e gaming platforms are still gaining interest because there are so many gamers around the world. now, that they are seeing they can earn while playing, remember, previously, they are just playing without any earnings. hence, they are being attracted to the idea that they can earn now while investing something on the game. but to suggest one, still it is on the player's responsibilities to look for a worthwhile p2e platform.

Besides some good games such as MIR4, Nino Kuni and other promising free-to-play games might give us some return (little profit) even without spending money.

Free to play - play to earn games has always catch, they will bombard players with premium items. But I think it is way better than Pay to earn games where we need to invest a certain amount for characters or keys to start playing the game. And most of these Pay to earn games have a Pyramid scheme / Ponzi Scheme reward system where the value of rewards depends on the people who get in later.

You're welcome mate, I love to see people who want to know more about crypto and ask about it. It's never too late mate, even though the hype/trend has changed, it doesn't mean you can't profit from P2E (Play-to-Earn). Axie Infinity is one but I think it's depreciating.
There's one more that a friend recommended to me but I forgot the name of it. It's about a game with a car racing on its own in a racetrack and all it does is finish the race over and over.
It requires a bit of investment though as you will need an NFT first. I think most P2E have that feature. Invest a little and they will make you ROI and more. It's not truly free but it makes you think the game could go better if everyone will invest a bit amount first just to pump the market and the trend.

P2E crypto It is possible to earn money in cryptocurrencies, but look for more stable and reliable projects. It all depends on your skills and knowledge, who knows maybe one day you will find such a project where you can get paid by spending time, or give up working for money because There is no way to tell which projects will work and which will not because there are so many variables that we can't even begin to assess them all.

This is also where I check P2E games.
Recently, NiNoKuni is the trend but there are games that are still ongoing and some players are still earning different tokens in it.
MIR4 is an example. (MMORPG) I have been playing this game for almost a year now but I haven't really earned much out of the game. Expect that if you are just free to play gamer and you are enjoying it and avoiding cash outs.
Although there could be a lucky moment for you here in the game like crafting equipment with a chance for it to be an NFT. Can be sold in their market depending on the demand.
One friend of mine had been lucky to create a weapon that was sold for $300 - $400.

There are tons of Play-to-Earn projects that you can play without even having to spend money to buy NFT or other stuff there. I personally played a lot of P2E-based projects in the past, but I've forgotten the names of the projects. The only one I remember is JobTribes which was developed by Digital Entertainment Asset (DEA), a technology company from Singapore. You can play this game for free and get $DEP tokens every 2 weeks. FYI, they're also developing some other games that you can play to earn $DEP tokens.

It has come in a very good moment since I was beating my brains out in an attempt to discover play to earn opportunities at crypto market right now. The concept somehow reminds me MIR4 (mmorpg, to mine ore in game feature to make real money and even the currency's quotation format).

Interesting collection, and thanks for sharing this sorted site. I did not know there are so many games based out of NFT alone and other with their own coins. I am not sure how successful you guys have been earning enough and not throwing away lot of time on these games, but since its just to play to earn surely it has got time involved as earning factor?

Any good experience or game suggestion from the list that you have mentioned here? Many times we exhaust ourselves playing non sense games so better to start with the one that's already has good average earnings.

I'm most familiar with Ni No Kuni, MIR4, and Axie Infinity. Ni No Kuni and MIR4 allow you to play for free but you honestly wouldn't get anything out of it unless you pay since the default you get wouldn't really be enough to compete, so the rewards are abysmal as well (and afaik, Ni no kuni was a flop at its release). Axie infinity was brought down BIG time by hype (which was also the one that brought it up tbf), but it's still a solid game. Entry-level is pretty cheap now that the hype is gone, about $25-$30 can get you in.

Almost forgot mate. If you knew Guild of Guardians nft then they will release their game on 2023. They said they are giving free natural heroes to play and thats for free. Ive tried the alpha demo and the game is good and you can earn decent gog tokens even for free. Of course the only difference is the paid nft by investors are higher or faster to grind or proceed to higher level faster than free to earn players. Just watch out for them.
