Isn't Mayweather out of the picture already when he signed that contract with Japan? He is only interested with money now and he can only get it in exhibition matches to get that  that kind of money. If he wasn't exciting to watch when he was still fighting actively I doubt he will be when he unretire. Terrence Crawford is also out of the picture as he is a top rank boxer which Pacquiao is not part of as he have leaved that promotion. Errol Spence and Shawn Porter are the next likely contenders here.

I will repeat, Floyd vs Manny 2 looks very unlikley as of now, as Mayweather has mocked any chances of that in his recent instagram post. Floyd is 42 and he is not going to fight anyone, much less Pacquiao. Amir Khan is another low possibility, after Manny denied the rumor after his fight against Thurman. In all possibility, it is going to be Errol Spence Jr., sometime in 2020.

But the money he got from endorsements is just peanut though as compare to fighting Manny which is going to be the biggest fight ever again. He goes out prior to the announcing of the winner in the Pacquiao-Thurman, because he knows for sure that he will be called out by Manny, hehehehe. He will be tempted to come back and fight Manny one last time -- if the price is right.  Grin
Take a look at the recent Instagram post of Floyd Mayweather and check if there's a hint of a rematch in the next coming months or perhaps years

"I find it real ironic how every time Pacquiao's name is brought up in the media, my name is always attached to it. This man's entire legacy and career has been built off its association with my name and it's about time you all stop using my brand for clout chasing and clickbait and let that man's name hold weight of its own. For years, all you heard was that " Floyd is afraid of Manny Pacquiao". But what's funny is, when we finally fought, I won so easily that everyone had to eat their words! All of the so called boxing experts, critics and jealous American "fan base" either went mute and ran for cover or made every excuse in the world as to why I should give Manny Pacquiao a rematch. My take on all this bullshit is that y’all are just upset that I broke Rocky Marciano's record and hate the fact that a Black, high school dropout outsmarted you all by beating all odds and retiring undefeated while maintaining all my faculties simply by making smart choices and even smarter investments. Ultimately, I will always have the last laugh!"

He is making money without breaking a sweat. He will not give up that record because if he did, his market value will go down and Senator Manny's market value will skyrocket.
This is really from his instagram? Are you sure? Could you provide the link please ? I'm not saying it's a fake, but it's really surprising from him. Maybe it's an old post, no?
I don’t think it’s an old post if it’s legit, because on the message he clearly stated how he defeat Manny Pacquiao while many are in favor of Manny

And another thing is the “Last Laugh” is on him this statement if he really does is an exact term to assure thy he will never come up the ring to fight Pacquiao for the reason he want to stay undefeated for his whole life

When you got mad Manny run Floyd run run Cheesy I’ve heard some rumor that coach Freddie Roach and Chavit Singson (one of a kind multi-billionaire on our country philippines) that they want manny pacquiao to retire after his last fight against to Keith Thurman.

Could we see another fight for Manny and Floyd??
You know what I think, for the right price the money team is game!

But am not sure if Floyd is a fan of rematches which pretty much gives me the idea that this fight is never going to happen!

And reading what's above the multi-billionaire could put an end to Manny's career with a good pay check if he agrees to their terms, it's all about getting the right price.

The only thing that confuses me right now is that why Floyd showed interest in the last fight of Pacman. If I am not mistaken he was on the same ring during pacman's introductory.

There is clearly a marketing that is happening right now. I am seeing is that Floyd will try to look at if they can still get the number of fanbase for this fight if it happens

Boxing: Who Will Be Manny Pacquiao’s Next Opponent?

Source: https://www.oddsshark.com/manny-pacquiao-next-opponent-odds

MAYWEATHER not looking like to be PAC next pick basing on the odds alone

I don't think this will be a similar odds when there is a Mayweather vs Pacman 2, I still think Mayweather will remain favorite over Manny.
Line could change like what happened to the Thurman vs Pacman fight, so I'll gladly take pacma as underdog here.

But how I wish that Mayweather will accept the invitation of Pacman’s camp for bout

Mayweather will stick to his retirement with a clean record and of course retire at the very young age with a lot of money and wise investments. I have no hope now for the rematch of this fight, well Manny will take rest for a while and maybe next year last quartet we will see Pacman on court again. I don’t have the idea about his next fight but I also hope its a good match.

This rematch will be the biggest fight of the century after this I doubt that there are more boxers to become their levels, there are both 40 - 42 now let them fight each other. No more fighting with the young contender because we know Pacquiao's gonna win and also Floyd's gonna win with that fight.

The very best they can have is to fight with each other with no reason to lose this time they need to give all of they have, Just like the fight with Gokou and Vegeta. let's see who is really the best fighter.

There's a possibility of a rematch, everybody is taunting Mayweather to do it again, P[acquiao is far better now, but once he beat the winner of Spence and Porter Mayweather will think of fighting Pacquiao but Manny would be 42 by then, and that could be another story.
Rematch is all we want to know who is really strong between the two if Manny win for sure another rematch will happen but if Mayweather win again I think it's time for us to accept that is really winner. But for now the we can do is for wait for the next announcement. Pacquiao even the older he consistent strong because he proved again what he did last fight.

Exactly, that is what we are all been waiting for, a rematch between the two greatest boxers of our generation. If Mayweather beats Pacquiao again then good, he will have his unbeaten record and his legacy. But he seems that very interested specially with what Pacman gave us this weekend.

This is just pure marketing guys, nothing else. Do you really think these fighters will have a twitter/instagram war and then go back to their lives? Impossible. They are known for their friendly moves towards each other as well, yeah they are definitely warriors when they are on the ring but outside they are just smart business people.

With manny fighting again and feeling comfortable it is quite possible that they are doing all of this stunts like they are making thing up and what not is actually a way for people to start talking about them again. If they didn't want a rematch then they wouldn't even talk about it but since they are talking about it again that means the fight must be on it is way. Manny wouldn't lose too much value because he is retiring and he already spent most of his earned money into investments unrelated to his name, he could lose 10+ in a row and still be rich thanks to his investments.

I've watched this in the news, on it is right that on the statement of Floyd Mayweather it is cleared that there will be no more rematch
will be happen, unless Floyd needs a million dollars to earn, probably He will suddenly change his mind to have a rematch to Senator
Manny Paquiao, but as of the moment no sign for that.

May be it's time to lock this thread. Floyd could not have told this in a more direct manner. He is very clear in his post. What he is saying is:

1. He is retired from boxing
2. He is proud of his unbeaten record
3. He has proved that he is a better boxer than Manny Pacquiao

Now we all need to accept the fact that Floyd doesn't see any solid reason to fight Manny again. I will never blame Floyd. He was asked to fight Manny and he did. If Manny had won, in all probability he would have also refused a repeat fight.

Definitely, the way I understand on his statement, it seems there is no rematch happening.
Both will retire as good fighter but Manny will remain the legend between the two despite he was beaten by Mayweather.
People doesn't care of the record anymore, they care for what the fighter can give and that's what Manny are doing.
Agreed, Floyd may be unbeaten in his boxing career but still Manny has a better image. I actually don't want to see a rematch between them simply because Floyd will just show the same tactic as before and if Manny can't KO Floyd, the same result will be in the end. We all know the only way to win against Floyd is to beat him via KO which is impossible because of his tactic. Named as fight of the century but turned out as boring.

but if the offer is something that can't be rejected, he can change his mind.

Mayweather made a lot of money in the first fight, if there's  rematch, he might make more, I think it's just about his undefeated record, nothing more.

Well if that’s the case so he must consider the fight for the Second time since he already defeat Pacquiao and what stops him from doing it again!
He was not convince he defeated Manny I guess because that time, Manny had an shoulder injury, this time Manny is fully healthy so he could be in big trouble, that's the worst case scenario. He is not showing some hint of fighting, he just want to convince people that he is a better boxer as he defeated Manny and he is also undefeated, but all of that doesn't matter to the people, they want rematch.
For sure with this current trends with changing words around social medias this two fighters are hyping the possibilities of getting the rematch, Mayweather still convincing people that he's the best after defeating Manny and from that post where he's dragging Pacman's name a good answer
was been send to him by Pacman, it's time for him to talk about the fight, and knowing how many Millions will be at stake Mayweather will always
after that $$$..
