If the potential rematch will generate more interest than their first match, $Floyd will definitely take this talk more seriously. For now, I can only see Manny wanting that fight to happen again.

With just one ping to Manny, this match is possible. He's the one that just have to make an action to trigger the fight.

This is possible but least likely to happen, Mayweather is already rich, he has the money and he can fight to an exhibition game and make millions.
He doesn't need to risk his undefeated record, he also wants to have a legacy in the sports of boxing, and even we don't like his style but the record speaks itself that he is a good fighter.

How about $250-$300 million?? for just one fight and possible to win it against Manny? Will he turn it down? Floyd doesn't concern about his legacy whatsoever, he is after money fights and with the way he live his life, he can't sustain that if there is no money coming it.

This could be another a big fight once Mayweather and Pacquiao agreed to fight.

Floyd Mayweather is 42 years old now and Manny Pacquiao is 40 years old.
This is still possible, right?  The gap is still not too much, both sides are still fair.

As long as Manny Pacquiao will not be busy since he is a senator now in the Philippines and the current administration seems much serious on the country now. And besides that, Floyd Mayweather now, as I observed no more talks about Manny Pacquiao compare before he won to Manny Pacquiao. Playing safe? Hmmmmmm.

He is living to the fullest and it can change within few moments.

I guess you are right that he's going to value now his record rather than have a fight with Manny again and has the chance to lose his undefeated record. At least he has a good history of being undefeated and once defeated the living legend whom had a lot of world title.

Mayweather already sais that he doesn't have to do it again what he had done better in their first match, I love to see both of them doing it again with both of them healthier and in great shape but it seems Mayweather doesn't have a motivation to come back again, because he believes he would get the same results.
Is that really the reason? I don't think that he's telling the truth. Anyway, they've earned enough with their match so if ever Mayweather runs out of money or does want to add more money to his bank account.

With just one ping to Manny, this match is possible. He's the one that just have to make an action to trigger the fight.

...because he believes he would get the same results.

As much as I want Manny to win if ever they will meet again inside the ring, I think I agree with Mayweather here. The performance that Manny has shown in his bout with Thurman may be amazing, with a knockdown even, but I can see an old Manny in there. I didn't see the hunger for a knockout after he saw Thurman standing back after the knockdown. With that performance, I am afraid he won't be able to equal Mayweather's athleticism, especially agility.
Manny is fast but Mayweather is faster he can't beat a man who keeps running in the entire game, in addition, that would result to disappointment of the fans as the hype of the possible rematch could be bigger than why Thurman vs Manny fight created.

I reckon that the negotiations for the rematch might begin before the end of this year and they organize the fight to be on 2020 hehehe. It might also be a faster negotiation because Manny is now also managed by Al Haymon.

"I don’t have an idea. My plan this time is one fight at a time,” Pacquiao said to SI. “He’s in retirement and he’s enjoying his retirement. He’s inactive. If he’s willing to come back and willing to fight me, then at the time he will announce it, we can say yes.”

Just something new about this. Mayweather was on a vacation in the Philippines. Reporters kept asking him about the possibility of a rematch and he kept shooting it down. Like I've said early, the guy intend to stay "undefeated".

We all know that already. He is really for his legacy of being a undefeated boxer so that his claim to be "The Best Ever", can be cemented.

As far as him going to the Philippines, it looks like it's official business as he is made one of the endorsers of Belo, I wonder how much they paid Floyd though? But for sure another easy money for him and not fighting Pacquiao now is his best decision.  Grin

Belo, as in the dermatologist?  Grin  I can't wait to see how that ad would look like haha! I'd be more interested if it's a fist that touches his skin but yeah, must be big money for him to come over. That undefeated title is definitely valuable.
Aside from endorsing a derma product of a known dermatologist here in the Philippines, Floyd Mayweather also signed an endorsement contract to a Mediterranean/Middle Eastern food that is popular here in the Philippines. The food is known as Shawarma  under the Khaleb brand. Here he is.

Aside from exhibition matches, looks like Floyd is busy in accepting endorsements.

Looks like this is not going to happen this year as there are reports of a big possibility of a Manny Pacquiao versus Keith Thurman this coming July 20 in Las Vegas. Even if we say Manny Pacquiao is successful in defending his WBA “world” welterweight title, there's not enough room to make way for another fight for 2019 since he needs to rest and train in case Floyd Mayweather decides to take the offer to fight Manny Pacquiao for the second time.

This is a good match for Manny but I'm sure he will win this fight.
His opponent won his last match but he is slowly, Manny needs someone faster and smarter like Mayweather for us to be entertain or to have a chance against him. I don't know what is the Nationality Thurman but in the past, I like watching a mexican opponent as they bell to bell.

I think this this solves the answer to part 2 or none

Mayweather on Pacquiao rematch: ‘I got the job done the first time’
http://ourdailynewsonline.com/2019/04/04/mayweather-on-pacquiao-rematch-i-got-the-job-done-the-first-time/

Yeah, I think we got the word straight from Floyd. He is no longer interested on any rematch whatsoever. Because according to him, he beat Manny Pacquiao fairly and there are no doubt in his mind that he did the job.

And he doesn't care if boxing fans is clamouring for a rematch. It's a closed book. He might go on exhibition match but not to Manny Pacquiao.

Manny already have the money that he needed for his entire family up to 5th generations, yes you are right he's money can't be compared to what Mayweather already have now, he can't force anything from Floyd as he's the one who  needed the rematch careerly speaking, and in any case Floyd
can simply denied the challenge.

You sure about that? He spends a lot. He supports his own basketball team. He built houses for poor people. He simply gives cash for poor people on Philippines. No doubt he spend a lot on himself. Huge mansion in Beverly Hills. Plus he's got 5 kids  Grin That a huge expense chart in his budget
Well if he is not careful, in the next 5 years all that money can go to drain. Unless he has a lot of investments that is giving a huge dividends, then he could be more secure in the future. Just simple accounting, he spends more than he can earn then definitely all his money will be consumed in next years or so.

Full of bubble butts as expected from Floyd, but if he saw that this fight can bring him the same amount then suddenly for sure he goes out of his retirement. Why am I actually saying this? simple if he purely doesn't have a plan he wouldn't even care talking to pacman's side

Floyd doesn't really need Pacman. The former is the one who brings the revenue from the US market. It is up to Floyd to decide who should be his opponent, and he has the freedom to do so. Feels bad for Pacman... he needed the money. His lifetime earnings are no way near those of Floyd. But now the uncertainty has ended and he should rather concentrate on his political career. Being from India, I should say that being a politician in the third world nations can be very lucrative.

He don't need to chase Mayweather, he is just doing this since it's what the fans would like to see.
Pacman did good in his last fights, not to mentioned the dominance performance of Broner, and it proves a lot that he can still fight younger guys.

If we are going to think about it yes Pacman should really not chase Floyd but for some reasons and because of his actions, what am I currently seeing right now is this one. Well, there is exactly one reason why Pacman seems to chase Floyd because of his and the pride of the Filipinos that is what Pacman always cares about everytime he wanted to fight someone.

Broner for me or other younger guys are just nothing man Pacman wants to get his reign again and defeating Floyd will still be the best option

If Mayweather will agree this will be good for boxing, but this guy seems like not interested anymore to make this rematch happen.
He was once made easy money in exhibition fight and now it seems like he is getting comfortable with this kind of fight.
Manny deserves to be in the hall of fame, and should be higher in standing compared to Mayweather.
