A coincidence? this is another encounter that they had and I think people who wanted to see them fight again are the ones who have been setting this up with this kind of event.

We, as fans are flaming our seats now and want to see them fight again. Let's see if they will have another encounter with another event. I wouldn't assume now unless stated, maybe Manny is just waiting for the elections to end before giving statement about their bouts.

This something interest the fans, with such news that will be around it can be a game changer to this pending rematch, if crowd/fans will push this up then the promoters will be glad to make things possible, it's not only the fighters but also the acceptance of the crowd will make this thing into reality, lets wait and see the outcome of this new encounter.

Are you sure with that? As far as I know when I watxhed Pacquiao Vs Mayweather lasg few years ago and the fight ids closely and I think points only why Mayweather won on their fights. If he really wants to prove that he can win again so better to have Pacquaio vs Mayweather 2 and Im excited on that.

Mayweather might probably not convince that he beat Pacman in their first fight and he don't want to put his record at risk in this fight because Manny has been fighting actively and beating opponents that is younger than him.

I wasn't aware that there is 'another chance encounter" between the two. I don't know if this is a setup or what, but it seems those two are comfortable talking and there are no animosity between the two.

But still the big question for Floyd, is he willing to take Pacquiao in the ring again? Grin

. I haven't heard anything coming from the fans of both side though, so probably majority of them didn't see or know this encounter in the Spence vs Garcia fight.

I almost never watch Pac's fights but when I saw the match with Mayweather later, I was also pissed. Even people who have no interest or knowledge in boxing like my mom found it lousy. There was almost no action.

Until when would the people drop it already? If he doesn't want to fight just because the money is not enough then they should have to find another fighter who is worthy than him. I don't know if he is just too afraid or too greedy but the bottom line here is they should have to stop this eagerness to fight between these two great fighters. We all know how dirty this sport when there is large money involve.

And this is what I'm been telling, he doesn't want to put his '0' at risk, and it's possible that Pacquiao can give him problems even at this stage of their career because Pacquaio can still pull the trigger as evident of his last two successful fight.

And Mayweather is even at the ring side when Manny fought Adrien Broner. So perhaps he see something or at least his camp tells him that it is still dangerous to fight Pacquaio at his point.

I agree. Floyd seems to be very active even if he is not fighting, he has his own boxing gym and I would assumed that he also has his own basketball court. We all know that he loves to play ball so for sure he is active outside of the boxing ring. Another evident is that Floyd doesn't gain weight that much, meaning his metabolism is very fast at his age because of his active lifestyle.

Same for Manny, although he is a working Senator and busy this days because of the upcoming elections in the Philippines, I'm sure he find times to at least jog and keep that body going even if he is not fighting.

They are really maintaining their bodies at peak just for their health and not for the fight I guess. So any talks about Floyd fighting Manny in the ring?

The problem is in Mayweather's camp. Pacquaio already said that the is willing to fight him again and even cut ties with Bob Arum and went to Al Haymon's just to increased his chances of fighting Floyd.

But it seems that Floyd is reluctant or shall we shall contented on his retirement and doesn't want to damage his reputation. So there's a big chance that we won't see the rematch, unless Floyd see's big $$$ being offered, more than the first fight.

We hear Pacman saying that Mayweather is their priority, but what can you do if the other camp doesn't want it? It takes two to tango. What will it takes for Floyd Mayweather to take the fight $300-$500 million? Who is willing to bring that money right now in the table just to see them fight?

This is a never-ending discussion about these two great warriors yet they someone is stopping their fight. Even if one of them gets poor I think FM will still not accept the challenge because he wants to dry out all of those small fishes that wants him so bad. lol

With Mayweather, that's why he's being called as 'Money' because of that meaning to say that he's very much affected with any offer and money with every fights he make. It doesn't mean that just because he's rich enough, he's willing to fight with very small portion of share with profits.

Mayweather's way of living is too high, he keeps on buying expensive things and living his life with luxury. He has to sustain that cost through making more through his fights, money plays a big role with this fight.

If its not money than what is it? If you offer both of these fighters 300+ million dollars each believe me they will definitely accept it.

The problem is they are getting old and they are already too old for boxing anyway and even though they are the best boxers of their own era its not like we would be watching the 30 year old peak period of them, it will be possibly their last important match ever if they do.

Hence, it is getting harder and harder with each day to find people to pay top dollar to watch them play, it will certainly make a lot of money but if they could make 10 small unimportant matches against other small and bad boxers and make the same amount of money they will fight 10 bad boxers instead of each other. In order for this fight to happen they should make sure they will make a lot of money from it and I don't see it happen anytime soon, it will most probably be less than the first fight.
