Pakistan being Islamic country and Islam offer 4 wives at the same time but on one condition that if you can do justice between them. other wise you should compromise on only one wife. Islam says that you should not kill your children with the fare of feeding them. i think the American who are giving birth to thousand of illegal children having one mother and so many fathers what do you think about that. are adding these illegal in their birth rate?

There are approximately 182 million Pakistanis, and the one this story pertains to is not a refugee.

Yes, you are right.  Plus, as long as the father can give the needs of her three wives and 35 children there is nothing wrong about it.  And the fact that those three wives live in harmony, there would be no problem. And it is not our problem if he still wants to have another wife and aims for 100 children.

The world is complaining about overpopulation, poverty, devastation etc and this man is aiming to have 100 children. I think it is better to have a family planning so that he can give a better future for his children  Smiley

Family planning is not permitted in his religion, and that is why he is producing so many children. The business minded religions always encourage their adherents to have as many children as possible, in order to increase their power and revenue. This is true for both modern Christianity (especially in third world nations such as Nigeria and the Philippines) and Islam.

Why are you assuming what his religion is even though it is never specified in the article? Or are you assuming that all brown people are Muslims?

Why don't you read the article carefully?

His name is Sardar Jan Mohammad Khilji. In Pakistan, it is illegal to have Mohammed as a name for non-Muslims.

Also it is given that "he believes it is his religious duty to have as many children as possible". There are only two religions in the world, which encourages their adherents to behave in this way - Islam and Catholicism.

This is false. Do you have a citation for that information?

But just trying to have as many kids as possible without considering whether you can provide for them...that seems like a desperate strategy, not fit for an overpopulated country with a lower than avg quality of life. Take care of the kids you have before you bring more into this world.

Don't tell this to the left-wing loonies. They will give lectures on the benefits of Muslims producing 100 children each, and will shed a few crocodile tears on the lack of opportunities for these third world heathens to migrate to Europe.

BTW... I don't care if they produce 100 or even 200 children, as long as they stay in Pakistan. But that country is dumping its excess population to the European Union lately.

Wow 100 kids? A lot of mammals have 1-2 babies at a time and wait until the kids are grown before they have more. Sometimes the parents will allow siblicide or even kill off the weaker babies on their because it will help increase their offspring's chances of survival in the long run - I know that's a little harsh but at least they're being realistic.

I never understood why poor people in poor countries like to make so many children, how the hell do they feed them all?

Cheap labor, the more you have the more comfortable your own old age is gonna be as they're brought up to actually respect their seniors. And there's a possibility that some of your kids won't survive in the poorest countries so you need to hedge your bets.

it is very difficult to understand why some people do it,

for that Sr is a very great achievement, but it has big consequences.

These children have to share the little that the father will be getting and that the father thought of how much money is needed to pay for education, health and adequate feeding for all children he has?

That's the issue. They won't by getting education, adequate nutrition, or health care. Welcome to the third world, where every human being's value is a couple of cents of cheap labor.

^ not only that. In some regions having a lot of children is useful. They can help the parents in daily work. In the fields, work places, with house chores, etc. And many see them as security in old age. Economically and emotionally.

Good point, and the reason behind that is because of cheap unskilled labor which they can be dependent on their children for. It sounds harsh, but that is the reality of the world we live in, and I sincerely believe Bitcoin can change that!

A Pakistani father of 35 is now searching for a fourth wife as he focuses on his goal of 100 children. Sardar Jan Mohammad Khilji, 46, says he believes it is his religious duty to have as many children as possible.

His three wives support his procreational and matrimonial goals, he said, adding that they all live in harmony together — though he would not allow journalists to speak with them.

Is it surprising that every year hundreds of thousands of Pakistanis are arriving as "refugees" in the European Union?

I never understood why poor people in poor countries like to make so many children, how the hell do they feed them all?

Hardly these people believe this to be an achievement and work on it. When such mentality changes people realize what they have did and the problems interconnected to it.

We cannot shame the poor for having several children. They are not educated about birth control, or have the same opportunities for it as we do. Furthermore, increased religiosity is linked to poorer regions, which in turn leads to abstinence over contraceptives, which does not work (clearly). They see both abortion and gay marriage as a vice, and therefore are unable to curb high populations.
