The coin's price is rising recently eventhough there's low activities with this thread, the investors found this coin as prolific investment and can be a coin for a long-term investment that will give some good returns.

Just downloaded the wallet - I mean, the BANK! It looks really nice and I'm sending all my coins right away to enjoy the interest.

Seriously, there are several <10sat projects out there that will yield great incomes and PND will be one of them if the path is followed.

Keep up the good work!

I would love to test out the Pandabank too but for the last few days the PandaCoin wallet at Cryptopia has been offline "Status: Maintenance 17/07/2012 Wallet migration".

PND DevTeam
Hi everyone.  The voting list is amazing. However I haven't cast a single vote.

This is because I just saw the list and am in total agreement with all the votes so far. Guess that means the list is to be taken as representative regardless to how many votes are cast.

If disagree with an issue then I would seriously be motivated to vote against it.

Am sure there are others like me so I am mentoining it for clarity and agreement.

Also am surprised to see that privacy features are not on the voting list. Another good idea is to allow a period of about one year or six months in which maybe 1billion pnd coins are raised which will help to hire a dev to help speed up developements;

Of course the current devs are the most valuable to us as a community.

Would much appreciate some discussion on the above points.

We are working on a few of the vote list items already, thanks everyone for keeping an eye on them and giving us your feedback. We are looking to add more good ideas to the list soon, thanks for the suggestions and patience.

We are working on help guides to make it easy to create your own Virtual PandaBank.  We have been testing a Ubutnu Graphical Linux build and creating and testing it as a USB bootable PandaBank.  We will also create guides to make it fairly easy for anyone to follow step by step, this will show how to install our Pandacoin Electrum also.

We have been doing some work on a mac also, we are close to having the latest PandaBank for Mac - Apple. We have also done some testing on our Pandacoin Electrum wallet for Mac - Apple.

Persistence turnsfailure into xemplary achievement
Is Pandacoin a masternode coin? Also what is the maximum number of Pandacoins and what year will it reach that number? Thanks!

scroll up a little and click on the link to checkout the voting booth.
community is in process of deciding direction of coin---maybe join slack if you are not otherwise opposed to slack.

am about to join slack myself.

Main points:
1: privacy features (because. ..why not?)-they can even be optional within pnd coin.

2: a campaign to raise funds specifically for extra devs.

Thanks all! Smiley

I see there is still a Pandacoin wallet in the Google Play store. Of course it no longer works.

Is there any access to the original code? I assume the original devs are long gone and no one can update this app.

it works fine, you may have to add a trusted peer or even try a couple to get connected and syncing ok.
I currently have 4 peers connected on mine and 1931637 blocks

if you have no connections go back then menu Settings

put in a trusted peer ip address

23.239.15.210 is one i am connected to

you might want to check skip regular peer discovery for now

see if it connects

45.79.170.139 is another if you need to try it

46.105.39.103  and 192.169.6.147 are the other two

also backup your wallet

you might want to try each one even if the first connects fine

it will add them all to your list of peers

go back to settings and uncheck  Skip regular peer discovery

you will see your balance only after you get to being synchronized up to the block they were sent on

Thanks jommy99. I've been able to connect to the peer 23.239.15.210 from the app is it appears to be downloading the block chain.

How big is the block chain at this time and how big is it likely to grow to in the near future?

I'll try sending a few coins to my Android app wallet and see what happens.

The app looks quite polished but is anyone able to update it with new peers and website links etc. ?

Glad to see the coin up and running again but a long way to go until it's up to scratch. I'll continue to hold and wish you good luck.
