theres no need to 'root' for anyone, we are not at war here and we can certainly each have our own market share without stepping on eachothers toes.

I dont exactly like this wolong guy and his manners, but if you play this unregulated cryptogame you should already know that it is your own fault if you end up losing.
It is very clear that the creator of this coin has his own profit in mind, I dont think anyone denies that. You either ride the wave or you dont. But dont blame anybody but yourself if you drown.

It's sad.
All these people bashing someone who has only brought me and many others success. I am
going out on a limb to assume that they did not invest in DOGE or UNO. Either that or they bought them high
and sold them low and made an error of their own doing. You must realize something very important here :
This man has brought order from chaos.
Maybe the man says some things that are a bit ... let's say..... eccentric.
But I see a massive opportunity to ride a long slow wave of real power instead of
the vapor that I have been seeing in and out of this place called Alt Crypto.

I am looking for donation help buy my almost gone laptop battery and a charging power supply, last only 15-20 minutes. Of course, with Pandacoin.

If you're being serious, then you're wrong. The most rudimentary evidence is in the very name of the miner being used for PANDA.

Go look at Github. Vertcoin was authored 18 days ago, PANDA was authored 6 days ago.
The repo for Vertcoin was created on Jan 4th and Panda was Feb 9th.
For more fun, do a Git compare between VTC and PANDA. It is screamingly obvious that Panda's "devs" downloaded the Vertcoin code, then find'n'replace'd all Vertcoin references with Pandacoin. The only other difference is the deletion of a couple licensing and development references, and the coin generation math, which looks like it was plucked from Dogecoin.
It's all under the MIT license, so legally they're not violating the license agreement as MIT has no forced attribution; but it's unethical not to cite your source. Then again, Panda whole dev process is an abortion of ethics, so that's not news.

sevoque, if you want people to focus on the rest of the team and not just Wolong, maybe you shouldn't have made a majority of the first post about Wolong? Hell, his name's even in the official coin logo. I'm all for realizing that the DEVELOPERS are nice guys who have a proven track record, so focus on that more, and make it less about Wolong.

While I'm sure some nice people are involved, there are solid reasons to be against this coin. The premining of billions of coins should never be accepted by the community, especially when the main dev has a shady track record of pump and dumping and brags about such on IRC. Further, 1 or more of the people behind this coin have been behind DDOS attacks on PND, forum spamming, etc. I get that some of you want to distance the coin from Wolong, but that's not really possible when he premined billions of coins and will always have complete control over its fate. Add in his childlike fanboys and his own erratic behavior, and it's clear why anyone who cares about the crypto community as a whole wants this coin to stay the hell away from legitimate ones.
