The vertcoin miner doesn't display temperatures correctly, so you need to increase your fanspeed to at least 20% to make up for the error, otherwise your cards will burn out in 72 hours. I.e. if the miner is showing 70c, the temp is actually 90c. If you can, run your fan at 90-100% to stay safe.
I mined vertcoin for the first week of release and I faced the consequences because the vertcoin miner is unreliable.

Hey everybody, it looks like Wolong is re-releasing this coin without the premine and a virus free wallet. It will also be in scrypt, and you will have a much higher hashrate using your regular cuda/cgminer.

pain in my stomach from laughing, all these accusations, based only jealousy
iv been here from the start , payments ar correct, there is no virus in it, i know, I have the technical background...
they should restricted newbys only to a few post a day,
i have notice all those accusations came from mostly newbys, becouse there own real account is banned, or prefer to be anonymous i think
This Coin PandaCoin is fair,good launch, real and familliar thanks to those accusations il thank you for that,
Pre-mining is in my eyes is a must, becouse you need your pre-mine to advert your coin, giveaways to make the coin familar over and over again
i understand pre-mine and i dont botter that, if you dont pre-mine and give out a zero pre-mine coin its not gonna last long term
to all those negative people i say :

If there are viruses in the wallet from the main web page, what can I do to protect myself and my other coins?
Type as few passwords as possible, and move all of your wallet.dats to an external drive.Encrypt them on a different PC, then reformat your infected PC and reinstall.
You can back up basically (anything except the actual wallet of course) without getting reinfected as this thankfully is not an "infectious" virus.
