I think that people will start buying coins cause price is decreasing, and it's really good opportunity to get some money on difference of price.
price is not decreasing any more right now, i think from now on the price should be going only up as a lot of people will be putting their money into it

I think many people will keep their buying on hold at a moment as price is above $600 so may be they will wait for some price drop so that they can buy at lower price.

Keep in mind that for panic selling to work, you need people on the other side of the trade willing to buy the coins.

The bitcoin price rose 4% in the last 24 hours. I think if you have bought a lot of bitcoin, you have made good profits.

Certainly the whales have financial reserves in fiat, so they would not enter into panic selling as most people would do.

Perhaps I should leave some coins in exchanges and queue it at a good price. But I am worried about hacks

The market didnt recover from bitfinex hacker, bitcoin were at 600 dollars and stable now looks like the hacker is dumping the coins, or people are scared to try to pump bitcoin back and the hacker dump his coins, makes no sense at all we be under 600 dollars, but well time will readjust the real value of bitcoin.

Panic selling couldn't really affect the bitcoin's price, the market price is already stable, and even the price dropp down the last period, i think it will increase again soon

Panic selling can affect bitcoin if the number of sold bitcoins is really huge, in short amount of time. And as the price decreased, i think more people will sell their bitcoins

What if somebody will make a huge dump and sell it all the way to earn some profits because of this rally in bitcoin, and someone sees it and do that same thing. Is there any effect on bitcoin when someone to this,?

Since the 1st August crash I can say that the price hasn;t changed too much since that time but I would not count this as a panic selling as when this happen the price goes only down as it was in 29 July - 1 August but it didn't stay too long there and the price is more stable now but needs to be increased soon.

The bitcoin price is actually dropping slowly after the Bitfinex restarted the trading. People are selling bitcoin to buy other coins.

I would venture an assumption that whoever stole bitcoins at Bitfinex has now started selling them right there. It may well happen that the coins allegedly stolen didn't even leave the wallets they had been in at the moment of the "heist"...

As implausible in retrospect as it seemed in advance

And unfortunately people are moving their funds to Ethereum and other new altcoins which make a hope that their exchange rate will be higher later.
The price for a while is staying at ~500€ and I think that people are more trading at altcoins rather than in fiat.

Bitcoin is recovering from bitfinex issue, and those should end on this month, and the current price for sure is the whales forcing it to keep lower soo they can make easy income. Bitcoin will and must readjust its value till end the year.

I think so too. The bitcon Price is recovering from the $500 lows 2 weeks ago. As Long as Bitcoins remain above $500 we are good. No Point in Panic selling right now. Better to hold your coins and wait for higher Prices again.

For sure  bitcoins price would recover from the hacking issue even though  bitcoin suffer from price drop but its not time to panic sell instead we must  see this as an opportunity to buy more coins because we would definitely  gain profit in the future when bitcoins price is starting to rise up again for sure.

Whether or not panic selling has a noticeable effect on the price depends partly on the total number of people using Bitcoin. If Bitcoin has only 20 users, 5 people dumping their coins will definitely affect the price (based on how many coins they hold of course). The bigger the number of people using Bitcoin, the more stable the price is. Panic selling shouldn't be a problem if the whole world is using Bitcoin, the market should be able to adapt pretty quickly regardless of the size of the dump.

I am doing panic selling when I see the bitcoins price is going down that is why I am not getting good profit out of it. If you are going to wait a little bit longer you are going to earn better. Just don't panic like me, because I really feel sorry everytime I sell bitcoin on panic. You are going to earn better if you are not going to panic.

There is no wrong in what you are doing, that's just normal to come along with those who panic, but for sure, when you get age, the ups and downs of bitcoin price is not much of a problem... Besides, you will have big loss or bigger profit if you have big amount of bitcoin, that's the only time that you are going to feel it, but if it is small, nothing to worry...  Smiley

I agree with you. When the price of bitcoin down, i also do the same like you, panic selling. Because i'm scare the price of bitcoin will decrease more, like the bitfinex hack tragedy.

That is perhaps the reason why there is a sudden change of bitcoins price.  Many panicked that they want to sell their bitcoins while the price seems good for them and as a result price gets low.  If I am on their side, I also do not know what should I do.

The bright side of this is, it is the best time for us to buy more bitcoins and wait for its time that its price will goes up again.
