I dont think that something like this can happen especially when the chinese are already out of bitcoin by Banning ICO's in their country and the huge dump already happened when newbie investor started panic selling their bitcoins when they've heard about china. Bitcoin has manage to surpass all those worst events and finally we can move forward and bitcoin will continue to grow as a mainstream currency in the future.

As I have read, there is nothingbto worry about when someone dumped a huge amount of bitcoin, this would be just another opportunity to buy more bitcoins in smaller value. So as I see it, if someone dumps, many others will just be happily buy more coins and the price will just go up again.

This is what happen when BTC price goes up, only a few are in green and the rest is red, alts are down because holders wants to turn their Alts to BTC and take advantage of the opportunity to sell at high price. Its not panic selling yet, this will not last long once the weak hand of those alt holders come to their senses, they would realize that they should have hodl longer. There's no way but up for BTC.

The price will decreased rapidly as a result of that actions because the supply on the market is high. And panic selling is something we can’t stopped or avoidable because it is an individual decision and can only be alter by positive thinking and trust for increasing value of bitcoin in the future.

When there is a huge dump there are also people who are waiting to buy it, when the news are good and people are selling normally it will not affect anything and the uptrend will still continue. The logic is, why would someone with big volume drop his bitcoin when the market is good, he could accumulate more money when he will be patient. Right now it's hard to say that market can be manipulated by one person because there are big investors interested to buy big dumps as well.

I think, when when someone make a huge dump, lets say that he cause the bitcoin market to go down quite big and the people who are investing on bitcoin sees this, they would definitely take that as a huge opportunity for them to more Bitcoin in a low price. When that happen, the price of bitcoin would just go up again. Lets say someone dumps again, then I think the same thing will happen.

Yes of course. Panic selling is newbies bestfriend that could result into huge losses. If that "somebody" has fifteen million BTC's and make a huge dump then it is possible that the price would crash and I think that traders will not waste their time to wait because I know that there is also a panic buying next to happen due to lowest dip or massive dump. I believe that pump and dump of BTC is like a cycle, it keeps on rolling because of pedal which symbolizes pump and dump. Since the beginning BTC has been divided to different countries arround the world so it is impossible to launch a massive dump that could result on price almost like $1. I think if there is a massive dump there would always be a massive pump to follow and I am sure about that.

It will have an effect. That is what the huge whales are doing. This is also what the influential personalities who are into bitcoin are doing. Spreading FUDs, making harsh comments about bitcoin as fraud. These are just some ways for Bitcoin's price to be shaken a little and them earning something from it. That is why those who are holding a moderate amount are creating pump and dump groups to imitate this.

Agree, Everyone invests as if they are panic or anxious with the coming of the price reduction on bitcoin but in fact it is definitely a price reduction in bitcoin.

The fact is people don't have much experience of bitcoins as they are new to the bitcoin world so when they see price dropping they easily get panic and start dumping their coins at lower price and big whales takes advantage of buying them at lower price but those who have enough knowledge about bitcoins will never sell their coins at lower price in fact they will start buying if price falls down.

You have to consider that there are people who are not like you. People who can't take any fall or dump in the price of bitcoin because maybe they are like my friends who gets their school allowance from their bitcoin earnings. These people cannot afford to buy bitcoin even at low prices because their precious bitcoin is supposed to be for their expenses only. For many people, a dump is already an opportunity to gain more profit by buying at low price and then sell when the price rise again but for them, any small decrease is a loss already.

Unfortunately for your friends the market it's not working based on personal financial situation. I consider that marketing it;s like swimming, you have to keep swimming with the wave, but if you panic then tragedies happens so, don't panic and analyze the market signals. Good luck and i admire your friends for trying to pull out the best of them.

You mean...people start following the trend of selling. Obviously, BTC price will crash for a while. But not forever. Because if there is not any negative news then soon smart investors realize that it is just a trend or panic selling and they start buying or accumulating it. This will gain soar the market. So no worries it is just the a basic demand and supply cycle.

It depends upon how much bitcoins is going to be dumped.In earlier stages,chinese most often dumped their bitcoins to earn profits and when the price fell due to it,they once again bought it at lower price..but now it seems to be not working since bitcoin has investors now world wide and even if any one tries to dump his bitcoins to rebuy,then he would be the ultimate loser since there would be no effect on the bitcoin price due to huge buy wall.

I think if there's a huge dump we must hold it than to sell it. Do not panic if the price of bitcoin goes down because there will be a time that that the price of bitcoin will rise again. Do not ever do panic selling because it will result to a small income.
