As far as i see till 40000 block it's still hybrid. By 'running staking node' i mean I'm mining on my rig and hosting staking wallet with my mining earnings on my personal PC for 24/day Smiley
I've got good feelings too, POW/POS hybrids with mining phase are by far better option than ICO in my opinion since it's more fair. The only thing that takes my concern is how much total supply will be when 40k block will be discovered since POS blocks count towards it.

Oh I see what you mean. I agree with you early mining rewards are like an ICO but you actually get what you paying for as you mine it. So how much have you minedso far ? I'm at 20k

Is it the Dev that is number one on the richlist. Most of the coins are held by a few wallets the rest is 3% or less. It does look promising and is staking well so far. I look forward to it.

POPPY added to altmining.org pools!
Connection info:

Username: your papaversomniferum wallet address
Password: anything
Algorithm: x11
URL (difficulty vardiff(0.001 - 10): stratum+tcp://altmining.org:3044
URL (difficulty 1(NICEHASH port)): stratum+tcp://altmining.org:3045

Minimum payment is 10 coins currently. I can adjust this, but it should be fine for now. Come hit some blocks! Please add to the op on the first page of the ann thread. Thanks!

Nice! For sure it's better than the pickaxe mining pool with a fee of 3%!

Not by much, but i'm definitely not getting rich off of the 1.5% pool fee.
Are you going to be adding poppy to the investbox on Yobit? I think it would be pretty sweet! It would definitely get more people interested in the coin. Even ones who didn't even get in on the mining. Also, we'll be able to basically get pos while our coins are on the exchange. It's a good way to grow your coin in my opinion.

Minimum payment is 5 coins currently. I can adjust this, but it should be fine for now. Come hit some blocks! There's already a few of us mining here(Current hashrate is over 400mhs!). Please add to the op on the first page of the ann thread. Thanks!

went again, started up again.

I will solve this,  if anyone knows any tips with iquidus, please say.

It will likely lag again, so I will take a new, higher RAM package later (it is 5.07 am where I live), but also put up an rpc script so you have a reliable check. In the meantime, check your wallet via debug, which will be reliable.

Very annoying, but hopefully the extra RAM will solve the issue.

Sorry :-(

Solved today (tomorrow in my head given I have not been to bed).

So  give me 12 hours. :-)

I suspect more trouble with the explorer, so will upgrade over the next 24 hours.

I will also put an easy rpc-call script up, which while not useful for searching balances, etc, will keep up to date with blocks and transactions.

Cool.
Projects that are really seriously done, already paying for poppy listed on the exchange, I'm sure this project will grow well, hopefully run as a good plan, good luck

I suppose it is too late for solo mining isn't it?
How does this pool mining with 3% fees works? I always distrust website where they do not state when do they pay...

Not too late, the difficulty drops quickly when no blocks are being mined, you just have to crack 1 block, and it will go right down.

Alternatively, just make a unomp. If you have no experience, this an okay guide, although a bit dated (miss out the windows bit if you are linux), plus fund it with a few coins when you can so it can pay tx fees.

https://blockgen.net/setup-your-own-mining-pool/

Like I said, it is a bit dated, but it still works.

Remember

staking=0

in the  .conf

Thank you man for the guide, i'm actually not using linux, I tried solo mining with the guide on the first page (Created the file in approaming right subdirectory), changed the rpcpassword, it just download blocks while using the mining pool I get many accepted this is how I configurated ccminer: ccminer-x64 -a X11 -o http://127.0.0.1:8155 -u PapaverSomniferumrpc -p 8Pgqr4FDwziYUkTxGCK2EigwokH4EwSYJ4 --cpu-priority=3 --intensity=20
Probably my rig is not powerful enough for solo mining...

if you have 100 mhz, you should hit some blocks.

Also, you might get shares accepted, but they are not blocks, so it is unlikely you will get a payment. If you were in a pool, your shares should count on every block the pool finds.

I see thank you for your help Smiley

I just rebooted, if it lags again, I will try increasing the RAM.

I should have done 2 minute blocks, so cron can keep up

block explorer not working for me Sad

read my post above yours

it is currently on track, but is finding it difficult to keep up  with the  pace.

This is either a cron thing or a memory thing. The latter can be solved.

Explorer lagging, so just updated, if it happens again, I guess I will try with some more memory. The trouble with cron jobs is that 1 minute is the least they will run at.
