I suppose it is too late for solo mining isn't it?
How does this pool mining with 3% fees works? I always distrust website where they do not state when do they pay...

I like airdrop, when will start?I will continue to pay attention to this project, can you also set up pool mining?

I will put you in for the airdrop, but I have yet to decide how to do this one.

The last one became insanecoin, and the success of that was because of some of the people that received funds from it, and due to some who did not (the latter two below).

It is better to airdrop a fully PoS coin, as PoW can create disparities in what should be equality of ownership.

I will make a thread soon, and gauge opinion - if there is one - on whether to choose a name myself, or whether a popular consensus can be reached.

I am also open to a team, or two, rather than just individuals (some individuals, though).

Crunck was a driving force last time, then Bitzy when I re branded to insanecoin (he is good, as was Crunck), plus cryptocoderz who made the new version of insanecoin, which was way better than my simple clone.

I only need about 19 people, which would  keep it a nice 5% (I also get the same share).

But unlike last time, once I have handed out funds, I am doing nothing. I said the same last time, but this time I mean it. At most I will run a blockexplorer for a few months.

That is why a "team" may be pivitol, and individuals do not always come together to  make a team for a common cause.

But anyway, team, individuals, or whatever,  it is up to you what to do once you get your share.

As far as i see till 40000 block it's still hybrid. By 'running staking node' i mean I'm mining on my rig and hosting staking wallet with my mining earnings on my personal PC for 24/day Smiley
I've got good feelings too, POW/POS hybrids with mining phase are by far better option than ICO in my opinion since it's more fair. The only thing that takes my concern is how much total supply will be when 40k block will be discovered since POS blocks count towards it.

Hi, POPPY seems to be a very promising project, I definitely could imagine tieing it to agriculture for use sakes if it'd ever been an issue.
For now I've thrown 70MH into a network and running staking node. Looking forward to see any development plan schedule or something that could bring investors when full POS kicks in Smiley
Fingers crossed Wink

I got in before the block 4000 was hit. I have just over 20k coins Smiley Staking away. What do you mean when you say that you are running a staking node. I thought full pos was already in ?

This coin is going to be really good. I have a feeling it will be profitable.

Why on hell would I be wasting my electricity on this project? No roadmap, nothing innovative, no goal?

You were not asked to do anything, so why comment as if you were?

As for innovation, read the altcoin section? How much innovation do you see there when you take out the lies about how coin X will be used  to buy goods Y,  but never to actually happen?

However, one thing, there is a cultural innovation in the name, which is one thing.

Anyway, I have no problems with you, so no offence intended by my reply.

Best!

Nice that you taking this seriously and have paid for having poppy listed on the exchange. I like the rewards you have for the miners. I think I will mine this coin.

Thank you pickaxe online for the faucet.

A crypto road map is not innovative, it is a pile of bullshit.

Plus, roadmaps were the thing 10 years ago.. time to move on.

Guide to solo mine?

Do I need to setup a .conf file in order to solo mine. Currently getting an error refusing to allow connection on 8155 port.. Is that a local problem?

Yep,  you  need .conf.

Use-
server=1
demon=1

in it.

username and password

-u PapaverSomniferumrpc
-p Anythingrallyjustlong

Typical example of your mining set-up (I will assume you use minerd  for the example)

./minerd -a X11 -o http://127.0.0.1:8155 -u PapaverSomniferumrpc -p Vju8aFFcxdryUplkmnTTreadmnY09c

Your conf would be something like this

rpcuser=PapaverSomniferumrpc
rpcpassword=Vju8aFFcxdryUplkmnTTreadmnY09c
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
rpcport=8155
daemon=1
server=1

You would also need an open wallet running (or better,a linux deamon).

But yes,you need a conf, mining solo is not mining at a pool

Edit

BTW, I mined solo at 100 GHZ, no problem.

If you have to ask if you need a .conf file for solo, I fear you will have a hard time.

You also need the right mining software

Two miners fighting it out for the poppies, 150 reward, gets lower after block 4,000, only gets higher at blocks 28,000-32,000 and blocks 36,000 - 40,000.
