i have been hodling in alts for 5 months. I had 1.5 btc when i started. its value is 0.8 now. So...Its your desicion to hodl or not but i advice you to trade if you are good at it or stay in BTC.
That's true tag line. More precisely we can hold only if we have got the patience in us. Today's world has got very impatient and no one care about there loosing money. That's ain't gonna help much while trading and investing into crypto world. What it asks for is the patience as we can see how bitcoin prices are blooming around us and those who have invested long ago must be millionair once more! This cycle will keep going on again and again until there is remarkable prices of 100k per btc. Hope so we keep it stubborn investment until that point in the future

At least they are living a life of financial liberty. Bitcoin has helped many people in making them rich and helping them in achieving their goals. As far as trading is concerned, long term trading is undoubtedly highly beneficial for traders.
I feel like the best way is to do both: long term investing and short term trading. Moreover I never keep everything in alts or in BTC, I always have both: altcoins and BTC, this prevents you from going deep down whatever happens on the market. Agree with you about patience, however, do you think that there're still coins that worth to wait for so long as it was with BTC?

Well all coins have their different, i have a coin before and the price was too small that time and because of that i did not sell it ,im just waiting until the price of my token Increase and this will happen. Just research about the coin you want to hold to avoid losing money.

Yup for me patience is always the way don't get too excited if you don't have patience you'll just gonna lost a lot of money instead of getting profit from it, you will gonna make bad decision if you don't have patience that will lead to your loss that is why it is important to relax sometimes.

I think you learn the trading very late. Since the principal of trading is Brought the bitcoin when the price of bitcoin is low and sell when the price is high. Do sell in panic and all.Just wait till the price of bitcoin reaches the high value. Just avoid of panic selling to rich in short time.
The market is way too unpredictable as of few weeks. Bitcoin has been just constantly rising and reached a high of 19k on coinbase. It is pretty difficult to predict what a high will be. With these new future contracts coming in, the price will be more volatile than before. Although, your advice is the best way to trade - Be patient, sell at high, buy at dip.
Patience still not the key to earn more profit in trading. I think its the knowledge on how the market works specially if you are holding many currencies in the market.

It would be a different situation if bitcoin price never hikes up. A lot of people having full regrets about why they never hold it. In the first place, it's their own fault why they don't have any patience at all. Second, a majority of holders never thought of BTC reaching this kind of value. Why not move on and keep looking forward to other things. After all, there's limitless of opportunities with cryptocurrencies. It is just a matter of time which coin will get the next chance to pump up, what ICO or project will create more hype and succeed in the end.

It's just because of the price of Bitcoin escalate quickly to the highest, no wonder peopl talking bs about how better holding it is than have to trade it. Now imagine if the alt coin price you hold escalating as high as Bitcoin or even better, what do you do? Remain talking about holding are better? I don't think so. so I learn so much from my big mistake. holding is the best option to increase your money.

However, it will not be possible only if it is sitting on patiently. If it seems that the price will be reduced in the future even if the price is gradually decreasing, in my opinion then it is better to sell it.

Maybe its wrong upon withdrawing earlier with your funds in trading,but making mistake will make you more strong... you earned something and it was a LEARNING so that next time you should have patience in trading bitcoin. because our investments earn few percent which means we should have earn it all and withdraw it.why not try to withdraw who knows that price that you withdraw is now riding on moon...
