Provided one is not a trader, chances of always missing the opportunities op had will always be there but it I patent that will eventually help us to make the right decision.

time doesn't matter actually - market condition what really matters. market can pass the same way for an hour or for 3-5 minutes.

Lol, I feel your pain bro and I understand that many of us can find ourselves in your exact situation most times because of the unpredictable nature of the market but based on my experience in crypto and how so many coins has thought me so much lessons.

What I usually do in your case is never to sell of all my coins completely no matter how hard I think the project is good or not, at least I always leave 30% of the coin on hold till faith and future decides what happens to that one, with this you won’t end up regretting or losing out completely. We just need to take things slow in making the right decisions that will affect our future positively.

It's about patience in trading and it all depends on what system is used for trading and the needs you need, trading for long periods of time to get big profits without the specified time and trading for short periods of time and selling them when rising without waiting time the old one and most importantly the price goes up from the previous price even though it is small and everything depends on the needs and what is needed.
both require strong patience to achieve what is desired, the most important is to sell when the price rises from the previous price.

Well, you do not have an option if you do not have the incentive to trade but hodl and hold with patience. Holding patiently is the big key for unlocking wealth in crypto space. In a down market, you would no doubt hodl and not trade because you do not get the benefits that easily when you trade in bull market.

It is a rule and a market fact that business cycle would at times let you make big money and at other times nothing at all because of the down economic activities so patience in such situations is more good than panic selling.

At least you are safe on that trade. You did not cut loss or lose a lot of money. But, that is a common mistakes in trading. Little did I know, I joined a bounty last last year and it is called ADEX bounty. That's the first ever crypto money I earned and I sold my ADEX at 9k satoshis. But, eventually after 2 days it got up to 54k satoshis. That's sad for me, sadder than your Raven coin.

I can relate to your submission.
Some of us have patience but most at times the human side of us tend to take over and then we loose focus . I held a particular coin for 4months , the price didn't even move an inche.
I had an emergency for cash, so I sold my coin.
Could you believe that the coin price did *2 5 days after I sold.
This market is highly unpredictable, that at times I do wish I can see the future.

Right, those are very important as well. We don't know when is the right time to sell because the price is very volatile. But as others have pointed out, disciple + having a good exit plan = success in the long run.

How many times majority of us didn't take profit in bitcoin when it was peaking in December 2017 and thinking the price could go on another parabolic rise?

So there you go, we learn a good lessons in there, book your profits in the opportunity is already in front of us. No need to wait as it might go on the opposite direction and you might regret your decision not selling them.

And unfortunately patience is in short supply not only in this market but all over the world, the advances in the technology that we have experimented during the last few decades have made people very impatient, this is bad for them but it is good for you if you can control those tendencies within yourself, because as you say if you are able to hold a trade that is giving you profits and take the risk of the market going against you and to avoid being sorry if the market doesn't do what you were predicting then you will be a successful trader.

Predictions is just a motivation towards your goals in trading, and in order to be successful trader you need to learn how to have patience. Control your emotions while the market isn't yet gaining good pumps, but we find it more exciting for the future of our asset to rise at greater values. Without patience on things might not give you good outcome, once you lose hope against your frustrations then you'll lose in the end. You can't be successful if you can't manage yourself, so before you risk yourself towards trading platform always bare in mind to have faith and determinations.
