I had new account. Couple scammers tried to scam me and i refused to pay and they reported me. You have to be very careful with Paxful. They can ban you anytime for basically nothing. Its not that important now i think. I would like to know if i will still be able to get my btc back or/and if there is any way to get it faster than after 1 year. Looking for someone who has been in same situation with Paxful.
You have the new account before the account in subject was banned?
If that's the issue the chance of you getting your btc back is slim because you're facing two charges there. Been reported as a scammer and having multiple accounts within the same payment method categories was said to be a permanent ban as written in their new rules.

Can you explain how a couple of users tried to scam you and then getting your account blocked, i used to deal with Paxful and never had a problem i never faced anything till now and there is no way they will ban you if you have not done anything wrong. I guess you were dealing with cards when this happened and the possibility is that the seller screen recorded the transaction between you and once the card is sent to you and you never released the coins and went into dispute and the moderator team went in their favor, other than that there is no way they will ban you for someone else scamming you.

I may have a solution for you to withdraw the funds. Contact me on telegram @xxxx
Also anyone else who may have their funds frozen on paxful please HMU
Stop your bullshit and die.

@OP did you just opened another thread here because the amount seems similar and the circumstances.

So how these people knew that you have Paxful account? Could it be an inside job?

Honestly, only Paxful support can answer you, better to have an open communication with them, they need to clear things up as well as your side. It could be case to case basis.

 ------------------
Edit: I found this, seems like what happened to you.

Look at the paxful sub and you'll find people got banned from time to time for no reason that Paxful could show to people. And those people have lots of money in their accounts.

I mean if I build a website like this,  then I select random 5% members to ban and take their money and give a respond "We don't ban people for no reason."

I just read about this same issue in another section of this forum, a friend of mine has also been a victim and his own loss was over 1BTC, I used to use the wallet but after that incident, I removed my funds from the wallet and never looked back, this is why I prefer fully decentralised bitcoin wallets that I hold the key, wallets like Trust wallet which has BTC and other Cryptocurrencies support, you and only you controls your funds and nobody has the right to freeze it even if you got it illegally (which I don't support but you get the point).

I read two things that they explained after the account was compromised: https://paxful.com/support/en-us/articles/360012676573-Account-locked

What kind of scam condition has happened? if you believe you did not break the rules, the problem should be resolved quickly, but the opposite will also happen if your explanation is not strong.

Hello, everybody. My Paxful account was banned with 0.4BTC in it. When i was trying to withdraw it i was unable to do that. I contacted customer support and asked when i could do that. They said after 365 days. Has anybody been in this situation? And most importantly were you able to withdraw BTC after 365 days?
I think you have been scammed and you should not hope to get your money back. Most exchanges have these strategies for users who are inactive for their accounts. so this incident once again indicates that small exchanges are capable of scaming any trader and we should be careful with it. Better yet, we should use our money to invest in large exchanges like Binance, Bitfinex, Bitmax, ... because when the security system goes down, they still have money to compensate for traders.

Did they tell you the reason?

If you violate their terms there shouldn't be a period of waiting.

Can you post the exact conversation you have with the Paxful support?

I really hate that guyz are always keen to be suspicious of everything. You have already made a conclusion that I'm tryna rip. Anyway whoever needs help knows where to find me.

Is there another conclusion aside from the obvious thing?

Personally, I haven't got any issues so far with Paxful and haven't heard of banned account.

Perhaps you need to read everything here: https://paxful.com/terms-of-service and see what warrants your account to get banned.

I would be very careful though of people trying to help you out here, lots of scammers out there, just saying.

Its faster to communicate on telegram. I'll do this, bring one account, then I'll withdraw and you can couch for me that my service is legit. So you are claiming that you can unban OPs account on paxful?

It could be done by only two persons.

Possible one,you are a staff from paxful and collecting money for unbanning anyone which is also illegal.

Or you can make the things legally by taking your case to court if OP didn't violate any of their terms and got banned for nothing. Now let us tell who are you? anyone from above two or something more different.

Why contacting you through telegram? Why not give the solution right here and right now? If your solution really works, won't that be a good advice for others that has the same problem as OP's problem?

You account was registered just few mins ago, so it seems really fishy to me that you offer your help through telegram chat.

Well OP, as the others have said there must be a reason for your banned account, you might've broke some rules.

Brand new account, brand new email and brand new telegram account. That's definitely suspicious because no one can really help the OP in this circumstance except someone from the exchange board but it will be better if the OP answer my previous question maybe there's still chance for him to get his BTC back.

A couple of years ago, I've bought an Amazon gift card from a guy who turned out to be a carder. I created a scam accusation (and provided proof), posted it here on the forums then submitted it to Paxful... they banned his account. A month ago or so, I visited the guy's profile to see if he's still banned or not and noticed that the "User is banned" message that usually shows is no longer there. One of these two things happened (IMO):

1. His ban actually got lifted automatically after two years period.
2. It's possible that he's still banned but Paxful is no longer displaying that for people (after doing some design tweaks on the website).

What I suggest you do, is logout from your account and then visit your profile (or ask someone you know to do it) and see if there is a message indicating that your account is banned If there is, then it's very likely you'll get unbanned as they said.
I believe this was not a situation of two years because the exchange have set a couple of user agreement and new seller rules this month.

Banned, frozen or locked? How long did that  happen? I found similar complaint with slight difference in amount of btc here: https://steemit.com/paxful/@abiolagbode/my-account-was-banned-with-0-7-btc-no-reason-help-me
Or are you thesame person?
Well, I guess the company does that to suspicious account. Try contacting them on Twitter: https://mobile.twitter.com/paxful?p=s

You said well about the ban of the suspicious account but if the OP break the exchange rules and agreement about having multiple accounts within same payment method categories. I will advise him to forget about his bitcoin because that will make his account to be permanent ban.

OP, what really happen? I mean what do you do?

I saw a lot of bad feedback about Paxful banning accounts and holding money for 365 days. I want to know is it possible to get it back after this period?
You can try to contact paxfull via support.Maybe they can help you in this matter.Paxfull is reputed sites so I think you will get your balance after this period.
Please always read the message above the thread before making posts because the OP have already started that he contact their support which was the person that told him to wait for 365days.
With that been said, this is not an act of stealing but penalized and i will advise you to wait has you been told because we all are not in the right position to provide you the right answer.
