It would be great to start cryptocurrency for payments. Thos will create a huge demand from the people aroundnthe world. Though btc or cryptocurrencies has ots own function and features on how it will be going to utilize, it is still best to use it in other way like payments.

I don't know other places that allow bitcoin as the payment, but I remember that I have seen some websites that accepting bitcoin as the payment. Yes, I understand that bitcoin has a bright future for the online payment in the future and I think we will see this is happening soon and maybe in the next year as I see that some people interested with the cryptocurrency.
