I prefer to ONLY selling mining contracts if they want to buy BTC.
They must send me an email from the account sending the PP funds saying
they are the owner of the account, agree to sending the PP funds, and
that they are renting time on an internet based server per day and since the
payment is for services rendered, they agree that nothing will be physically shipped.
I dont think PP has anything saying you cant sell your services in lieu of
time leased on your own servers and receive PP funds, but I could be wrong?

This may give you piece of mind and it may make the buyer somewhat less likely to try and initiate a chargeback, however the fact of the matter is that unless you are selling actual shipped goods then it is very easy for a buyer to recoup the funds they used to send you

IIRC, eBay makes you put it in Classified Ads, which is a place where PayPal isn't.

Ok that makes sense then off to sell cex.io vouchers then. Cheesy
Hey can you please tell me how can I obtain cex.io vouchers?
Please pm me if you want to share it thanks!

Here is the list of scammers that I have compiled.

http://xbttrades.wordpress.com/bitcoin-scammers-on-ebay/

I have done a lot of business with bitcoin using ebay/paypal.
I have saw just about all of the scams that the scammers use.
I try to update my blog when something new comes up.  But I haven't been selling for the last 6 months.  Ive been busy.

I just encourage you to read their Terms of Service.
The problem is a multiple dimension issue.

For one, the TOS insists that you have a tracking number from a recognized postal service to prove that the package was shipped to the correct address, and received.

The credit card company requires the same.   If the seller can not prove to the CC company that the item was shipped and received, then the seller gets no protection from the credit card company.

That is specifically why PayPal's terms of service required a delivered item to have a postal tracking number.  Because if the credit card company comes back on PayPal, PP will lose the case without a tracking number.

Ive documented some of the transactions that I have made with Bitcoin via Ebay/Paypal.  I also have documented a list of scammers to be aware of.

Even with an email from them agreeing that they agree to send the funds and there
will be NO item shipped due to the payment is being sent for services rendered by the seller?
Thats pretty unbelievable to me.

I had one recent issue with PayPal and in the resolution center, one of the options was no
tracking number because of the item being related to services rendered... or something like that
in the wording.

You can sell mining contracts, but it's easier for the scammers to get your coin if you don't follow the PP TOS exactly.   Without a shipped item, you get no seller protection.

Tracking number is key!  I have literally never lost a paypal case with one of these scammers.
Send paper wallets primarily.

doesnt that mean you can make purchase of btc using paypal via ebay ? As far as I know paypal is totally against BTC

You still can. But usually the seller is the fucked person. Because of a lot of scammers using stolen PayPals.
And PayPal >99% is resolving the disputes in gain for scammers.

Both paypal and ebay are very bad places to trade bitcoin.

I agree about ebey, its a safe and good place only for buying covers to smartphones  Smiley

eBay is safe if you are buying as you have a lot of consumer protections. Selling on the other hand is not so safe as buyers can easily scam you

Agree about the selling part, its so easy for buyers to scam the sellers. The biggest tips for sellers is to send everything they sell with a tracking number

It is confusing to me too. I think it is technically possible that eBay can accept bitcoin as payment without paypal, or eBay can start a new subsidiary to handle bitcoin payments alongside paypal. eBay owns paypal, so they can make changes if and when they need to.

It is still anyone's guess at the moment, eBay CEO has hinted enough times in interviews about bitcoin integration, but has failed to give any details on how it will be implemented.
You would pay for your goods when you win an auction in bitcoin to the seller. The transaction would not involve paypal

So I had to sign and notarize a document stating I will not be selling any bitcoins for paypal usd but ebay allows the sale of them i'm confused on how that works?

Well, paypal will never agreed to have business with a better and direct competitor, bitcoin can easily make paypal obsolete.. thats the reason.

Did they say why they wanted you to sign such a statement? This sounds like someone was somehow scamming you, but I am not sure what the angle is
