I got paid ... I got paid close to 12 hours later than on previous times, but I did get paid.
The payment is lighter than expected by about 8%, but I did get paid.

I would normally reinvest 100% back into PBM ... With no hash power currently available and the disturbing tone of this thread, I am now looking for a new investment option.

What do you people suggest ... Who is considered to be reliable and legitimate ?

Until recently, this was one of their addresses.
Paid out over 300BTC since beginning.

http://eligius.st/~wizkid057/newstats/userstats.php/1FGLzXwFzEve4rhQ91gznjjfzhAmF4Cmux
https://blockchain.info/address/1FGLzXwFzEve4rhQ91gznjjfzhAmF4Cmux

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.7312486

now count how many of those BTC came from mined blocks:

https://blockchain.info/address/1FGLzXwFzEve4rhQ91gznjjfzhAmF4Cmux?sort=0&filter=2

still nowhere near.

They mined over 300 on eligius while they were mining there. Who says they still mine there? They can be very well mining on another pool now and we dont know it.
My point was to prove to you that they in fact were mining on eligius.

i only see ~17BTC mined on Eligius to that address.

http://eligius.st/~wizkid057/newstats/userstats.php/1FGLzXwFzEve4rhQ91gznjjfzhAmF4Cmux --------> balance graph

and to you, this indicates that PBmining is legitimate and mining all of the coins they pay out each week?

Cant comment on that, I just said its a fact they mined on eligius pool.

Apparently it's possible to channel the heat coming off the Geothermic Geysers in Iceland to be used as FREE Electricity for running BitCoin Miners Wink

Joking aside the one issue which flags operations as possibly suspect, to my mind at least, are those who offer contracts inclusive of electricity !

If I had to predict their operation, it would be something like this:

1) Mines from different sources (hardware, cloud, etc...)
2) Dumps all btc earned into main bucket
3) Takes % off as profit (skimming?)
4) Distributes to customer based on per contract hash rate.

Would this still be considered as ponzi?

I am very confused about how the things are unfolding here. Can someone please clear one of my doubt ?

Even if I assume that this Jason guy or whoever is behind PB mining is running a Ponzi, is he a criminal in the eye of the law, as long as he is paying out ?

Probably not. I seriously doubt that any law enforcement gives

a flying fuck about cloud mining services. 99,9% of them probably

have never heard about them.

The guy is probably laughing his ass off at the bloody wankers here.

me included.

Hey, galdur, chill out mate, anybody would think it's a full moon the way you're carrying on  Wink

So, where´s the thread that Sherlock Holmes put up

with the info that he and the other sherlocks found out ?

Something tells me you know  Grin

This is the thread that outlines how Jason Boyko created a phishing site just before PB Mining.

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/definitive-proof-the-owner-of-pbmining-is-a-scammer-885224

And this Jason Boyko is definitely the same guy that used to be called

Jeremy Bigges, in other words the owner of PBM ? Right ?

Something is way off on this new round.  Here's a global stat for the top two hashes (112 Th/s and 84 Th/s).  After 12 hrs, this is the only btc earned so far.

Someone mentioned a few posts back about a reset, was there a reset that happened?

After 12 hours, no way that a 112 Th/s is going to earning only 0.11.  A 0.11 is like a one-block reward at slush for a 40 Th/s.
Way too low:

Hash Rate (GH/s)     Account Balance
112856             0.11081021
84621             0.08308703

Q for everyone:  If a person mines at slush pool as an example, they don't always get the same amount in a week's time frame, but overall should be about the same more or less with pool luck.

If pbmining was a mining for realz, would they be subject to the same variation in btc reward?

I know, it´s not counting jack.

Throttle down the reward while he runs away somewhere?

It´s very strange.

Now I´ll be forced to stop reading this thread because I promised

the sherlocks to never call them nutbags or be otherwise rude to

them again. But now they´ll start again with their ceaseless and

totally intolerable din so I guess I´ll be looking into other things.

Please try to hire more reliable FUDDERS next time

Facts:
-GHS are sold out occasionally
-giveaways
-changing prices GHS (not always best deal in town)
-Canadian citizens are not welcome

So tell me 1 Ponzi that could keep it running as long as pbmining is with all the facts we have. Pbmining is no scam/Ponzi so good luck next time to all you cockroaches

google 'Charles Ponzi' the internet will give you plenty

you asked for one...

If this is a ponzi as some claim, could the low rewards be a response to people not feeding the ponzi?

I have 525 GH worth of miners hashing at Ghash.io

The rewards after a week were comparable to the rewards I got a PbMining per GH.

You are free to do your own comparison, try it sometime.
