Hiya,
So I am looking to invest for the first time in bitcoin, in PBMining. I was considering buying a bitcoin miner, but I saw that with this there are no power costs and it is pretty much the same price as buying a physical miner. Any thoughts?

Compare rates before u purchase...

1. https://cex.io/ => 0.00268387 BTC/GHS

2. http://pbmining.com/ => 0.0021 BTC/GHS

3. http://www.cloudmining.website/ => 0.001 BTC/GHS

One more time: PBmining price is 0.0015/GHS

Something more about PBmining - check post of SlientBit from 01:31:39 PM - will tell you a lot!

It was 0.0021 BTC/GHS even a few hours ago. Apart from me, others also got the same...

what the sh i t going on front page, it says 0.0021 btc/ ghs

but you can buy 0.0015 btc / ghs in order page...

hey houston you have a web problem..

What does it mean by check post of SlientBit from 01:31:39 PM ? It does not mean anything. No mention of thread, no quotation !!!

Moreover, I never said PB Mining is bad. I just wanted to point out that they are not the cheapest at the moment. It does not mean that they wont be the cheapest again.

Does pbmining still ask for a 5 year contract? I remember that when I was looking for a cloud mining services. That's why I've chosen CEX.IO.

I think you can choose that or a 1 year contract. Some people buy GHs, mine for a month then sell the GHs at the current rate, making back their investment possible + the mining revenue.
I see you have gawminers in your sig. Have you got a miner with them? I am trying to decide between gawminers and pbmining.

I can advice you pbmining, it is a good cloud mining website. If you want to try it, invest a little part of your bitcoin and you decide if pbmining is a good way for you or not. Anyway, remember: Don't invest what you can afford to lose.

well said! ..and check price - sometimes on front page you can see 0.0021 / GHS, but now price is 0.0015 / GHS (If you see 0.0021 - you have to refresh - sometimes few times site)  it looks like is cheapest offer on market atm.

..and if you decide to invest in PBmining - PM me before - i will tell you how to get 5% more power for free Wink

AHHH I get it now! lol so you pay someone else to use their hardware to mine for you. That sounds like a huge scam. They could easilly mine and just keep everything and say they got nothing. OR like you said, not mine at all.

Actually, price from pbmining is more expensive then if you buy hardware. But yeah its power cost free so you might ROI better from PBmining then buying hardware...
For me, an Antminer S3+ 400+gh/s costs £210 with shipping (power costs too)
PBMining 450 gh/s = £195~ with no power costs
Is there better hardware, that is cheaper than PBMining?

Wait, what is PBMining? I was under the understanding that mining BTC was using w/e GPU you have to solve complex algorithms. So how can someone mine with zero power costs? GPU usage = power consumption. What am I missing here?
pbmining is cloud mining service
so you only need to buy hashrate (GHS) from them and they mine bitcoin for you for period of time
you didn't need mining hardware and cost (electricity and hosting) anymore
but some people think pbmining don't actually mining
you can see the discussion here -> https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/pbmining-legit-484355
