If at all possible: buy more RAM. RAM is quite cheap, and if your mainboard supports it, upgrading to 8 or 16 GB is going to make a very large difference. Not only for Bitcoin Core, but it will most likely improve your entire computer experience.
If you read back a few pages, you'll see my experience with 8 GB RAM. That's already not enough to fit chainstate, and lead to writing several TB of data to my disk. With 4 GB, it's going to get very slow later on. Check how large your chainstate directory is now. It's going to be 11 GB at the end.
Thanks LoyceV I am trying to increase RAM storage 8GB to 16GB and currently I have only 4 GB that's why my entire computer and also Bitcoin Core progressive procedure is slow now little bit increase 0.08% to 0.63% due to deleting some unnecessary file and application from computer.

Your screenshot is fine, you can submit screenshots or command-line output, but if you chose to submit command-line (terminal) output, it must be the contents of bitcoin-cli getblockchaininfo. I do not accept debug.log output.
Thank you very much sir! I will choose screenshots to show my progress. Please correct me if I made a mistake.

From my own experience what makes this process faster:
  • Good internet connection
  • Storage type being used i.e SSD>HDD
  • Decent amount of ram, and anything above 8gb ram should work well
  • Run it in pruned mode
  • Run it 24/7 to make up for any lost time

Thanks Woodie for this info

If I compare your guidance I have a good internet connection and also I have SSD storage type but have low ram only 4 GB. Run in Pruned mode is also right and last thing I run this node maximum 10 to 12 hours

Anyways, one day it will complete and synced 100%

You don't need to use your phone camera for this task mate...

could you try using a screenshot software for a cleaner and clearer picture and capture the full window of the Bitcoin node, btw snipping tool is free on Windows..good luck  Smiley

Thanks for also this now I am using this tool for taking picture next time

I've downloaded Bitcoin Core. Sorry I didn't screenshot the progress. Can I start today? And are there any mistakes I need to fix in this challenge?

From my own experience what makes this process faster:
  • Run it in pruned mode
Pruning doesn't make the IBD faster.
I am pretty sure pruning is meant to help save disk space or run a node on limited disk space...

and probably the syncing gets faster with the use of a downloaded pruned blockchain as you did with your earlier project of the RDP/VPS

when moving from 2gb ram to a 4, 16gb ram machine etc which is how I got to this conclusion but thanks for pointing it out  Cool
