Coinbase is very fast, i had this problem on the past and they solved it instantly, the problem is that probably you put a wrong address, and that is the real problem of why it has been pending for a long time.
But it is very weird, because my transaction got pending for only six hours but then it got cancelled and the amount of that transaction got instantly credited to my wallet at that moment.
Just send a ticket, they are going to answer fast if they dont have a large queu, usually they answer to those tickets in less than four days. Hope you can recover those bitcoins  Undecided

I have been using coinbase too for a long time and i have never had any problems with them so far.

They are one of the best wallets that i have ever used, only that they are an exchange, and maybe sometimes when the blockchain is so congestionated my payments are pending for a while, maybe 10, or 20 minutes, but finally they all go through in no more than those 25 minutes max.

Why dont you send them a support ticket? Maybe they are going to help you out with that problem, maybe it is because you are an US resident, you havent said if you are one of them or no.

anyway, try to wait a little bit longer, you are going to recover those bitcoins, and of course that 0.60 is a huge amount of money, that is more than one month and a half, maybe two months of my salary.
Omg, i will keep on track this thread to see if you recover them or not
good luck.

I have just checked and I cannot find a transaction ID anywhere. I have also checked the qallet address and it is correct  Huh
If you share your _public_ key of your hardware wallet, someone can check on blockchain.info that there's a pending transaction or not (or you can do that yourself too, just copy your public key to the search bar of blockchain.info).
Usually transactions sent with a low fee are pendig for days and after they are deleted from the mempool (the place where the transactions are gathering and waiting to be confirmed, the miners are selecting the tranactions with the highest fees, so a transaction with a low fee are usually at the bottom of the mempool)
If you can find anything about your transaction, you can check the fee too.
If you can somehow provide a bit more information, someone will help to find out what had happened, that's for sure

Purchased a bit of bitcoin on coinbase on the 15th and that was fine it got confirmed quickly . Then I tried to send it to my hardware wallet and the transaction has been pending since then!
I have contacted coinbase support several times wih no response.
Hi. Thank you for your quick respone. I dont think I have been scammed (well I hope not) but after reading a couple of other posts I thought I had lost the bitcoin. It was approx 0.79. Is 6 days normal for a transaction to be pending then? And do you know what the maximum amount of time it can be pending? I have read that other people have had confirmations within 10 mins so 6 days seems like a long time? I will look into the other sites you have recommended for next time. Thank you
I think you need to provide much information. As you said, you have been purchased 0.79 BTC from coinbase and it was completed done, your has received on your coinbase wallet.
Later, your send it to 'hardware wallet and the transaction has been pending since then', what is bitcoins address as your destination?
have you checked your coinbase account, is there any transaction-id about your last transaction?
Contact coinbase support should be get fast reply as long as you provide much information about.

I use coinbase as my main wallet and yes, I have noticed slower transactions.  You just have to make sure that it goes through eventually.  I have had them take a total of about 1 hour before, sometimes longer so again, just be patient and hopefully it will go through eventually.

Check to see if the transaction showed up on the blockchain.  Did you type the wrong bitcoin address when you sent the bitcoins from coinbase to your wallet address?  Just double check to make sure that you didn't do that.  I beielive coinbase should give you the transaction ID for sending your bitcoins to the wallet address.  Go to https://blockchain.info/ and type in the transaction ID or bitcoin wallet address to see if the transaction went through.

Today I had a transaction from your wallet to another account. My transaction was held for 15 minutes. If you have the confirmation occurs within 6 days then it is something abnormal. I wouldn't use their services. On forum in the tools section there is a service to expedite transactions. You can take advantage of their service. It's free and very effective.

Just be patient, your transaction is going to go through because they are not going to steal your money, i think that this is just the first scam acussation that i heard about coinbase.
May i ask you how much bitcoin did you bought in there? you had better sites to buy bitcoin, like localbitcoins (nobody is going to scam you in there because it is a p2p exchange)
and cex.io allows you to purchase directly via bank transfer or credit card, it is a very easy to use exchange and i have been using them for a while, and i never had problems with both of them.

OK I want to cry right now. I am a newbie. Purchased a bit of bitcoin on coinbase on the 15th and that was fine it got confirmed quickly . Then I tried to send it to my hardware wallet and the transaction has been pending since then! Ive just read through some posts and some people are saying that they have had a transaction pending for a while but they had given up and considered their bitcoin lost?? I have contacted coinbase support several times wih no response.   I sat at work today and could not even concentrate. Yes I understood the risks that the price of a bitcoin could decrease but to have my whole bitcoin disappear was not expected! What can I do to fix this - Any advise would be greatly appreciated!!!!
