As been mentioned above, that's why I always say never use any new or random wallet, just stick with trusted and old wallet. If the old wallet have more features and trusted until now, why should we need to use new wallet then? I would say it's dumb if you choose a wallet based on their UI/UX only.
Also it's possible if you invest on shitcoins, the team or developer can steal your tokens even you hold it on your own non-custodial wallet.

That's a lot, sorry for your loss, have you ever used any dex? There are few solana dexes out there and also one or two on solana wallets like slope and phantom wallet, there must have been a leak somewhere, I think right now we haven't gotten the exact 100% answer to where all the leakage comes from, with the look of things its going to take time.
I lost 5000$ in slope wallet and I heard people saying that only those who have used their wallet to claim free airdrops or NFT are affected, this is a lie, I've never used my wallet for any airdrop or connect to any platform before, no sending out from my wallet for months and all coins in the wallet are from binance exchange. ..
Meaning its not about that affiliation on such dapp. Meaning there is more confusing reason the hack on solana. Too bad mate that is a huge money and losing it without proper explanation is kinda frustrating. But you sure thats not really used on such dapp? Maybe you connected to other solana dapp which is also part of the hack method of hackers.
