Of what financial benefit will one sell at this price, although there is gain amount of profit for those who bought at $1000 but it would have been better sold when BTC hits $10000 and above or rather wait for another bull market.

Michael Moro, who is a CEO of a major crypto trading company, talks about how people who bought into Bitcoin at the beginning of 2017 at $1000, are now starting to sell their coins. Is this an indication of massive FUD? Is this the time where we should buy and take advantage of the FUD sellers?

When did you guys first buy Bitcoin, what was the price of BTC and are you going to panic sell now?

I bought btc at $ 3200 and I did not have panic about the news, I wanted to know how many btc they would dispose of, there was still a lot of news spread to disrupt the existence of btc

Well if it is true then it us a win win for both of us the buyer and the seller.
They won because they got the profut we won because we bought it at a low price if we are aiming for a long term.
Just believe in BTC and wait till it goes high again .
Maybe the profit that those $1,000 buyer gets right now would be double or even more if we hold their coin for the next couple of years.

I wonder the parameter used in the knowing the time the people selling at a particular time bought their bitcoin. People sell their coin when ever they like.

Yeah me too. It's past panic time now and people are trying to accumulate btc for the possible next run so why sell now when they could easily sold last year. If they haven't sold their btcs back when it was plunging from 10k down to 8k and then to 6k, i don't think they'll consider selling now at sub 4k.

I am sure they are still holding bitcoin right now because they have passed the highest peak period at the beginning of last year and it is impossible to sell it when prices go down, except selling it for reasons of needing finance in an emergency

If it's the case of those that bought at $1k and selling at $4k then I see no problem in it. Simply because everyone has their preference in what they want. They might be thinking they made *4 of their investment in selling now which they made not thinking about the sorrow those that sold bitcoin so low some years back are now regretting. I don't see this as an act of FUD but reckless investors who can't see what the future contains.

People who bought when the price was around $1000 intending to sell by the present market is no long a big thing. In my view most of these were the people who missed the opportunity to sell at the peak and buy back when the price drops low. In this way this is not gonna make a big impact on the market.
It makes no sense for someone to sell at this point when the market is showing signs of recovery, the thread is started last year when the market was bleeding and was showing no signs of recovery  Wink, people who missed the opportunity to sell at the peak will not sell at this time, if there is a massive sell off from anywhere there will be an impact in the price movement.

Honestly, as long as I know Bitcoin, I never read news stories that contain FUD, of course it will damage all market prices, making everyone panic, by reading news like that, I am very confident that 1000 $ bitcoin buyers have investment experience and insight that's enough that they won't sell it this year.
Serious investors wont fall for these stupid claims, just take a look at all the FUD stories, as they will not publish any other detail on how they come to a conclusion but write a detailed story on the subject without giving any valid source of study, just ignore those news and follow the market.

The first time that I bought bitcoin cost 700k php per bitcoin last march 2017. And when the time that price will rise up to million pesos per bitcoin I already encash it.  Now I have a some small amountband I dont have any plan to encash it and I want to hold it. I know it is not practical because itvis too risky when you based on bitcoin's value today but I am hoping and waiting for the million pesos value per btc before I encash it.

Of course reasonable investors buy at such moments when the market panics and sell when everyone starts to buy and believe in eternal growth, I think such moments need to be able to catch , and now the market is such a time!

Nice try CNN, I bought nearly all of mine below $1000 & I’ve only sold about 10%. Definitely holding through to after the next halvening. There will be fireworks then.
It was just a kind of speculation or they only did a small survey, the person who bought at $1000 and missed ATH last year,
must still be holding it up until now. even I bought at a price lower than that and still kept it now

Me too I would like to know where they got this information. Do they hold some kind of list public wallets of those who bought at $1000?

When did you guys first buy Bitcoin, what was the price of BTC and are you going to panic sell now?

For me, I started joining campaigns here at that time. I didn't have the money back then. When I had some I bought but sold some near ath. I have some left on my wallet trying to hold them longer.

At all times there must be selling and buying of a coin to ensure and boost its liquidity. When  people selling at a time and others are buying dosent mean they are those that bought at low price. Moreso anyone can sell his/her bitcoin at will without any rule of when to sell or not. So it dosent matter whether people who bought bitcoin at 1000$ are selling or not , what matters is there is continuous trading actions.

There will always be a continuous trading actions buddy because bitcoin is yet to reach global adoption and more people are still interested in buying some but the fact that some people who buy during the time of $1K price are now selling is not something good because it will affect the market surge in price this was the concern of the community.

Donating 10% to charity
I've even sold it when the price touched $ 15,000, if they sell at this time when the price of $ 3,000 feels like kissing the ex-lover's ass, so I think holding it better won't even be possible to touch back on their purchase price of $ 1000

Ok that was pretty smart of you to do so, that is very impressive.

I would like to surround myself with people who is able to tell this kind of things to learn from them and i would help if they need anything reasonable on the future.

When you are in a bad environment, then you notice the huge importance of having smart friends. Not that easy to find.

Actually this article true or not, but if anyone who bought bitcoin in $1000 and they are starting to sell their bitcoin, so i don't think that it is a bad thing, they have a triple profit on it and it is their choice to buy or sell.
About me, I bought bitcoin less than $1000 but i hold it for 3 years and i have seen when bitcoin was $18000, and i lost that chance that's why i will till hold when bitcoin come again at $18000 and on it, i don't feel panic.

Don't be like these guys. Rebirth of Bitcoin is coming like a Phoenix. Just remember my words.

The problem is people aren't willing to hold through all the dips especially new investors.  Past charts tell us is all you have to do is hold and it pays off greatly in the end.  Bitcoin hitting 20k from current prices is a 5x return on investment which is spectacular compared to normal investments.
It is obvious that Bitcoin was way overhyped at the past. Every media talked about it and now many of newbie investors lost much money and got disappointed in cryptocurrencies. Cryptos won't probably get their trust back.
So why BTC should grow to 20k again? And don't count on your blind faith that it was like that in the past.
