I'm from perth and I would like to go. I'm up for buying some loot from anyone has things for sale. T-shirts, stickers etc. i got 2 rpi's and 2 article breeze fans if anyone wants to buy I can bring along, lol. I'm only a small bitcoin owner (4 prime hashlets in Zen portal). But would like to lay my other eggs in other baskets. Anyway I'll come back and forth here every so often

Bump
Heading east on 12th Sept
Be good to have a meetup before

I have a couple of spare hats, t-shirts and keyrings I'll bring along if anyone would like to purchase Smiley

suggest a date I will put it in the top of the thread,

I also will be going east, but a bit earlier, so I probably  can't make the next one, I would however like to get some bit-coin merchandise

I'd like to suggest this for our next meetup: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/bitcoin-wednesday-first-wednesday-of-the-month-worldwide-248361

"Call it a just coincidence or take part in one of the world's most exciting global tech revolutions.

Tomorrow, the first Wednesday of the Month, there will (by last count) Bitcoin Meetings in the following 9 cities:

    Amsterdam
    Sydney
    Munich
    Vancouver
    Pittsburgh
    Toronto
    Austin
    Paris
    Buenos Aires
    Cinncinnatti

... and add your city here.

I'm posting this on the main board, because I think it's time to show worldwide solidarity and do whatever's needed to make this into a popular global movement.

Recent market research http://techcrunch.com/2013/06/28/bitcoin-awareness-and-trust/?utm_content=bufferf9504&utm_source=buffer&utm_medium=twitter&utm_campaign=Buffer shows a quarter of U.S. consumers have heard of Bitcoin and the majority of them trust it. In some countries these numbers are even higher.

Join us and help spread the word: First Wednesday of the month is Bitcoin Wednesday."

Too late for today I suppose but next is Wed 7th Aug.
