The 1st thing that comes to my mind? Huh

Years ago I was there working as a young man. I had been there for about 6 month, when another young man came over from the USA. it was his 1st trip outside the USA> I took him out for dinner and drinks. A beautiful Filipina came to our table and was flirting with my friend. When they decided to leave together, I advised my friend not to go...he just laughed at me, and told me I was jealous. I told him again he was going to regret this and not to go.

I went back to our hotel.

About 2 hours later my friend came into the room in a rage, turned my bed over throwing me on the floor, and started kicking me. All I could do was laugh hysterically as he was screening...."you knew that was a man, you knew....."

My 1st thoughts....BEWARE OF THE BENI BOYS!!! Things are not always what they seem.

Great place, I travel regularly to the PI and Thailand.

Learn the culture, customs and a bit of the language.

(If you do not know what a Beni Boy is I will let some to the locals explain it. )

I think of the beaches in palawan, boracay etc. Then I think of the food like lechon manok, etc. Then redhorse beer. Then riding motorbikes without helmets and no licences. Good times.

Philippines...Philippines, one of the most beautiful and loved country in Asia, that is why there are lots of people who come and go just to visit this country the Philippines! The Philippines has everything a tourists wants: beautiful sea beaches, mountain drives, tourists spots, scenery and the like. People here are very hospitable, loving and friendly too.

I am proud to be a Filipino. And it's really true that we are hospitable up to the point that we prepare special foods for our visitors. They will sleep on our bed and we are on the floor.

The first time that comes on my mind with regards to our country are those beautiful and mesmerizing places and sceneries on our country. You will relax and at the same time,enjoy!

Even if we are struggling, we still smile , laugh and help other people who are in need. In, addition, Filipinos are also God-fearing. Very religious.

i see that in the philippines they have everything inside malls, e.g. whole hospitals. what other places are inside malls in the philippines which are not usually so in other countries?

I live in Philippines, I really think that some foreigners like Philippines a lot because people here are really hospitable and kind. They feel at home and some foreigners even choose to stay here for good. I have a lot of foreign friends and they are all saying that they really like Philippines.

It is a great country.being Proud Filipino. As far as I know the Philippines is very RICH. In the sense that u can feel the warmth of our people, tell you no tourist will get lost in the country because there are a lot of Filipino who will guide and help you out. Rich in culture considering that we have 1,107 islands and with that u can just imagine the diversity of the people. Also in tourism. This is one of the best tourist spot by foreigners, with 1,107 islands u are bound to find your own paradise,heavenly beaches, coves.

Actually, when I initially hear Philippines all I can think of is beaches. There are lots of good beaches in that country. I enjoy the caves and the wondrous underwater experience and just plainly enjoy nature since I am a nature lover myself. Philippines is a good care taker of nature.

I am living here in the Philippines. No matter where you go there is always bad and good. Cultures here are fun and really exciting. There's a lot of good people no matter what your citizenship, you are still welcome here. Just don't trust people too much because sometimes they are taking advantage and even us filipinos are quite ashamed of what they are doing.

7,107 islands if its low tide. Palawan was once listed in seven wonders of the world where it can be found here in the Philippines. And also tourists find many Filipinos as hospitable and joyful as they were felt a heart warming welcome in our country.
