There was a similar topic on October 22: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/warning-fake-brave-bounty-program-giving-1500-bat-tokens-to-each-participant-5195024
This is clearly a fake website and newbies are often fooled by this. I have also received a similar email but I will never click on those links. Security is always my top priority, those links are most likely malicious links and they can steal information from my computer.
It's best to put such emails in a spam mailbox and forget it.

At least he do thread to aware again some people who do not know or lack of knowledge from hacker's so it would be good also.  Some thread like this go down so no one would seen about this and it would be bad.

I also do putting it on spam so it won't notif me about some malicious information or message.

It's better to use your built-in browser. There's a lot of browsers out there with injected spyware on it. So always be cautious about using them. If you are using browsers like Google chrome or mozilla, don't save your pass as it can easily be backed. Also don't just add browser extension of it's not needed. Some of the has copy paste virus. Their address will automatically paste when you paste other address. So be cautious about that.

Also we should only install the browser from their original websites. It is always danger to install the browsers from third party sites and if someone email like the case of OP, to install from a link, it will be surely a virus or a malware.
I do trust Mozilla and even store my password on it, but after reading some views here i will remove all my save passwords from the browsers too. Its feels everyone is looking to scam the other rather than being honest   Sad

This might be a old trick but newbie can fall for this so, it is always good to share that information in community.

Also, it is always not same to share our personal or office information anywhere as it can also be hacked.

Regards Brave Sowtware.

This is crazy because i receive those emails into my main email account which i don't remember using it in any strange offer or newsletter.

It looks like these scammers are using automation for email mass sending and also using alternate sender addresses to avoid flagging so I think we should expect a lot of these being sent to us more often.

If you have any suspicion that your email have been compromised, then you can check it at Firefox Monitor and see if it has been included in a data breach.

Don't rely on emails to get updates for browser platforms, wallets or anything. Of course, email serves its roles as mean to receive announcements for upgrades or important things with exchange account.

But people have to visit official websites of wallets, exchanges, services to check that there are real upgrades from those platforms as receiving email mentions or not. If not, it is phishing attacks, and they will know what to do.

There are people who often instantly click on link provided in emails to download, install, upgrade. They are very vulnerable to phishing attacks by that bad habit.

I just received the same email. Usually, the recipient, is a huge list of address. If is that the case, ignore it. There are High chances to click in a malicious link.
Better to avoid them at all cost. These hackers can't help themselves but to act with what's the most popular service now. Before there were emails like this and they're naming themselves as blockchain.info.

I also wonder why the scamerr knows my email even though I didn't publish it.
Getting one's email is easy, there are various hacking where user data is leaked (usually contain name, username, email, password and hashed password) and many websites who sold users data.

Not exactly hacking but there are some extensions now in google chrome that can view emails and names. More likely by passing the information.

true, people who e-mail lots of e-mails with the purpose of gadgets are frustrating, I used to get emails containing kidnapping my children, but hey! I am still a teenager and do not have children, other than that he asked for a ransom of 4 BTC, very strange in my opinion, whether people out there have run out of sense to find bitcoin on the right path.

Those kidnappers really want bitcoin specifically? Lol! Anyway, just block those emails so they won't bother you again.

This is exactly what is needed to be done once you recieved an email that you can't recognize from whom did it came from. Ignore it as much as possible because the possibility of unknown emails to be a scam. virus, phishing, ransom ware and al the malicious software and sites is very high.

I don't suggest literally ignoring the scam site though. Spend a minute into at least reporting the scam website to Google to potentially decrease the damages. Sadly, not everyone are aware of these types of scams. https://safebrowsing.google.com/safebrowsing/report_general/

I'd suggest that you remove the original google form link that they've provided in your post (the same for others who have quoted it) or replace it with a placeholder.
You're indirectly re-sharing a malicious link. Also, you'd still make the same point without that.

I know only a twit will fall for that even with the warnings/etc but, let's just keep the possibilities of it being clicked to 0%  Wink
Yes that's right, thanks for the warning. I updated OP and hide the malicious .
This is the important part in that link and it's about mandatory conditions to be eligible for rewards:

The moment it instructed you to install something, you should question its intention and purpose. Never trust and never ever install something from anything unknown. Never compromise the safety of your device, your asset, and yourself
