Easiest way to counter these kinds of email scam and even social media scam is to go directly to their official website or blog site to know of there are really official announcement about an ongoing contest or not. Some sites even warn you through their websites that a similar type of scam is spreading in the internet. Just by limiting yourself on the email you are reading won't help but from people who has experience with being victimize by these scams already they will instantly know that this types of emails are bogus.

I find it hilarious that the scammers are asking people to submit information through a Google form, even though one of Brave's important goals is to prevent data-hog companies like Google from accessing and collecting people's data lmao.

Please don't use those links, this is a try to set malwares in your device. Be careful !

I'd suggest that you remove the original google form link that they've provided in your post (the same for others who have quoted it) or replace it with a placeholder.
You're indirectly re-sharing a malicious link. Also, you'd still make the same point without that.

I know only a twit will fall for that even with the warnings/etc but, let's just keep the possibilities of it being clicked to 0%  Wink

This is similar to this post, where a different phrased version was used:  [Warning] Fake Brave Bounty Program Giving 1,500 BAT Tokens to each participant! . Looks the same with a slight variant in wording, perhaps to bypass anti-spam filters.
They are just the same in terms of their motive.I just wanna to post up the thread you had given. So far i havent received any suspicious emails yet im not really into
giveaways or promotions. So reading up new mails isnt my thing.
I often receive emails like this I always ignore messages like this because I know this is phishing but sometimes it's annoying almost once a week I receive emails like this, I also wonder why the scamerr knows my email even though I didn't publish it.
Your email been definitely scattered out on the net.Any service that had leaked out their mail list can really be used up or can be bought up
by someone as part of their list where these phishing emails would be sent into.
