Some weeks ago I requested a feature where phoenix stops mining if it cannot find addressed card in config, this is becasue I have a mixed rig and sometimes one card goes missing due to a riser problem or whatever, phoenix starts to apply wrong OC values to GPU's. Since I don't have hope that they even see the request, I made a simple powershell script that counts number of adapters and if you have the desired number of adapters, runs a batch (that runs Phoenixminer in my case) or runs another batch if it can't find the required number of GPUS (of course the batch sends me notifications so I can keep track.) You can use this to either shutdown the system cleanly, or if you want you can run your miner with safe settings that matches all your GPU's.

You can find the script here:
Powershell script to run batch based on display adapter count

You can place the .cmd file in shell:startup, but since I need admin priv. for AMD mem timings I use task scheduler to run the script at startup with admin privileges.
Where is the "devcon" program mentioned there?

Hi,

Suddenly getting a strage issue with 5.4c. Have been running 5.3 for some time without any issues. Not changed any timings/clocks etc.
After a few minutes of mining with 9 RX580's one card suddenly falls to 0.000 Mh/s and the miner freezes.

Hi,
I'am getting this error since 10 days agora:

clSetKernelArg (-48)

@PhoenixMiner How can we solve this? I see that there are many other users on reddit experiencing the same issue.

check: driver version and DAG "eres -1 or 0" not eres 2

Thanks but it doesn't solve changing the -eres to "1" or "0", I am using driver version 20.10...

I am new to PhoenixMiner so please go easy on me as I have a couple questions.

Is there a way to see when the last share was found?(besides scrolling back up the screen or looking at the log file)

I am running rx580 cards  -rxboost is working fine "xxxx.xx.xx:00:18:35.996: hwmc GPU1: set VRAM refresh rate -rxboost 30 (equal to -vmr 29)" but I see nothing indicating straps are being applied.  Will I get a notice or is it just working and I dont see it?

Thanks Smiley

Im running about 28.6 -28.8 mhs at 1175mhz GPU and 2150mhz memory at 90w but feel i should be above 30mhz.

Can you help me please. I have 4x Rx580 and 1x Rx5700, and amd driver randomly crashed. In log i can see hashrate of rx5700 jump high 469mh, and drop to 0mh.

The same thing happens on 20.9.1 and 20.11.2 version driver. I revert default clock for rx5700 and problem it happens again.

Do you have advice how to solve this problem.

i use 5.4c Phoenix miner.

hi I have a Gigabyte RX580 Windforce OC Rev 2.0, settings are cclock 1200, cvddc 850, mclock 2015 mvddc 875, currently it's giving me 27 MHs, come times reach 28.

I testes many different configurations but reaching the 30 MHs reported on many post.

Anyone else having this issue or a good config for this card?

Thanks

try 2150 for mclock

Hey guys

Been using phoenixminer and liking it , i’m hashing at 130mhs constantly on nanopool .Barely any stale share . I see my hashrate reported between 120-130 .

Now when i look on whattomine , i shpuld be generating .21 to .24eth a month but i seem to be getting .2 only .

Any of u guys have been in this situation and were able to fix it ?

Thanks

Try mining on a different pool, maybe Ethermine. Having said that I wouldn't say no if more people joined flexpool, it's a small pool with bigger variance but it's worth a shot. The PPLNS window is too long so don't worry about inial estimates being too low, you will be getting full rewards in a couple blocks found by pool and you will keep on receiving after you leave for a couple of blocks found.

Greetings, I had that dilemma for a while and in the end after several tests I stayed in Nanopool because the payment was always higher.
In Ethermine I found more shares but we know that they are worth 3 times less than Nanopool shares and in the end the payment should be the same or very approximate in the 2 pools but in my case I have received a higher payment in Nanopool.

On the other hand, you should know that the information provided by whattomine is referenced by the Linux system.

Read the first post.  it's in the OP

I could not like the Ethermine pool.
While the my miner softwares cannot find any errors, Ethermine shows bad shares on the site

Then pick another ETH pool...if you get similar results the issues not the pool.  I can go between nano & ethmine and not see any real difference in payout.  Sounds like you have an issue as Ethermine is showing bad shares.  Nano may not report them but that doesnt mean they are not occuring.  I generally earn more than Whattomine states for my hasih power.  I also regularly earn slightly more than the estimate on ethermine.

Are you on 5.4c PhoenixMiner?  Bad internet connection?

Out of curiosity why not mine on sparkpool ? Bigger pool , pps+ , wouldn't that be a better choice than nano/ether?

Would give it a try if i could simply put my wallet and point my miner at their pool but with the annoying registration , having to put ur phone number and authenticator for payments it gets complicated for nothing.

I have 2 pools in mind to switch .

Starkpool that does pps and 2miners pool since they also opposed to eip 1559

Could consider flexpool , lots of buzz about it recently and they oppose eip 1559

Whats the difference in revenue between a big pool like starkpool and flexpool ?

What is the cards performance?  What MHS are/is it producing?

I am getting 28.6-28.8 MHS on the cards @ 90w with settings of 1175mhz on GPU and 2150mhz on memory. Oh and stock BIOS.
