I am new to PhoenixMiner so please go easy on me as I have a couple questions Smiley

Is there a way to see when the last share was found?(besides scrolling back up the screen or looking at the log file)

I am running rx580 cards  -rxboost is working fine "xxxx.xx.xx:00:18:35.996: hwmc GPU1: set VRAM refresh rate -rxboost 30 (equal to -vmr 29)" but I see nothing indicating straps are being applied.  Will I get a notice or is it just working and I dont see it?

Thanks Grin

has anyone been able to mine on the Binance's ETH pool? I am getting really stuck with configuring the phoenixminer bat file..

Last week I did the tests and the correct config is:

PhoenixMiner.exe -pool stratum+tcp://ethash.poolbinance.com:1800 -pool2 stratum+tcp://ethash.poolbinance.com:25 -wal nameofworker.nameofworker

Look: There's the first pool with port 1800, the second pool port 25, and last is the name of the worker you'll create on Binance: https://www.binance.com/en/support/faq/9bd21a9536d74d1fb65c83f8e60ded93

Lets say you'll use the name murgorx, the line will be:

PhoenixMiner.exe -pool stratum+tcp://ethash.poolbinance.com:1800 -pool2 stratum+tcp://ethash.poolbinance.com:25 -wal murgorx.murgorx

And it's normal to have some delay until pool recognize your hashrate correctly, but don't worry, it's normal and they will pay from 1st share

I start mining ETH again and see that Claymore Miner is not running any more so i start to mine with Phönix miner- Hash Rate is good but i do need much electricity. I live in acountry with 30 cents/KWH. I have 5 RX580/8G -On Claymore i need 600 Watt in 2018 -now i need 1000 Watt/H -same settings in Overdrive N Tool than 2018 - I try  write in BAT Datei cclock 1200 -mclock 2100 -cvddc 850 -mvddc 850 but bothing changed. Does ETH Mining need more power now or why is this so???

i have cclock 1220 -mclock 2020 -cvddc 825 -mvddc 825 => 145 on the wall.

Try lolminer or TMR ! for best KWH

145watt 1 rx-580 8 gb Huh realy??
what Mh/s ?

i with cclock 1200 mclock 2015 ccddv 850 mvddc 875= 82/85 watt       32,66 Mh/s

Rig x7 Rx-580 8Gb

605/610 watt 227,2 Mh/s

Yes: don"t see in console watt, see on the wall with wattmeter

925watt on the wall, 7 gpus, cpu, b250  expert mining, 4 fans 140mm y with 227,2 Mh/s
your hash rate ?

Yes, power usage increased starting with DAG size over 4G according to reports from different sources

My 5700XT Red Devil is only hitting 50 MH/s. Any advice on how to change this? Can pool have anything to say? I am using nanopool.

Hi,
I have nvidia ASUS p106-100 6gb mining series card and WIN 7 x64 operating system.
Phoenix miner version 4.9c and main Nvidia driver version: 382.53 working - BUT the hashrate is drop significantly last two months. Now is ~16.8 MH/s. (with -mclock +790) I think it must be more!
Every miner after 4.xx don`t work. (even 5.5b)The cmd window closes almost immediately!
I can change everything but operating system.
What i can do to increase hashrate, command line options , drivers... ?

Hi! Ive had many issues with p106 and 382.53 on win10. Changing drivers made it worse. So ive installed hive. 23.5 mhs on eth

I laso have p106 6gb with 460.89 on windows 10 and 5.5b but no issues.

5.5 works fine for 5700xt with a 1.5-2W drop per card

5.5 doesn't work for 570-580, consistent crashing

cheers
Same here my rig with polaris card miner just stops mining and exit. 5.4c works fine

Hi all and PM,

Long time watcher here but thought I would give some feedback on 5.5b - I'm running it on 2 rigs which are quite stable (uptime approx 92hrs) but on a third rig it wasn't stable so I reverted to 5.4c. Overall 5.5b is better - with wattage draw similar to 5.2e and hashrate similar to 5.4c. For my 7 GPU rig that runs stable with 5.5b it means 10-15W less vs 5.4c with a similar hashrate of 3mhs more vs 5.2e.

Unfortunately running 5.5b on my 11 GPU rig shows a lot of hashrate fluctuation on each GPU and a lower total hashrate than either 5.2e or 5.4c. Then crashes after a few hours. With 5.4c it runs quite stable.

OS:Windows 10
Driver: 20.8.1

Rig 1 (3 GPU): Vega56, RX580 x2
Rig 2 (7 GPU): RX570 x3, RX580 x2, RX5600XT, RX5700
Rig 3 (11 GPU): Vega56 x2, RX570 x4, RX580 x2, RX5600XT x2, RX5700

In regards to my issue with my first (#1) GPU causing me headaches in my 6x 3080 rig I believe I figured out part of the issue. I had added remote desktop ability so I could easily monitor the rig. This created "remote desktop display adapter" in the device manager. I disabled this driver and the rig has been running solid for 24 hours now. I believe something in Phoenix miner was confusing the 1st GPU and this display driver causing vrel and vop issues to pop up even though they weren't real and the card didn't need to be limited. Now that I've disabled this driver and am only plugging a screen into the rig I'm having zero issues. Very strange, but hopefully one that can be fixed so I can use remote desktop in the future.

5.5b solved the problem of memory overheating on 5000 series cards.
But I couldn't see the difference in efficiency.

ive find all of the phoenix miners work great from 5.1c.
i as well havent seen hash improvement or efficency.
all is good with this software. great work phoenixminer.
runing 580s and 570s and 5700xt. all 8gb

yes, all my rx 8gb works fine on 5.1c, better use this version guys.

Is it still possible to mine successfully with RX580 8 GB on Windows 7?

I'm not able to reach higher than 10.5 MH/s with the latest AMD driver (with compute mode enabled through registry). Older drivers gives me invalid shares.

You are not in compute mode

I agree that's what it looks like. Is it even possible to enable compute mode on Windows 7? I was previously using the blockchain driver but started receiving more and more invalid shares until almost all were invalid. I upgraded to the latest adrenalin drivers for Windows 7 which made all shares valid again but speed is just 10.5 MH/s. I tried to add compute mode to the registry but it made no difference. So is possible to enable compute mode on Windows 7? Is anyone still successfully mining with RX580 8 GB on Windows 7?

Greetings, enter here and download this file, then click the right mouse button on the file, select properties and then go to the compatibility tab. there you select run program with compatibility with windows 7 and below you select where it says run this program as administrator.
you accept those changes, exit and then run the file. It will show you when I make the change as a calculation. Restart your platform and run PM.
excuse my bad english

Thank you @Geniusvzla for the suggestion. I have tried that as well but unfortunately it made no difference. Are you on Windows 7?

A customer has W7 with 4 rx580 8gb GPUs. But soon I will update it to W10.
The other thing you can do is reinstall the
Bios Mod to 1 GPU or find another Bios just to test, reboot, run switch to compute mode, reboot and then run PM with your parameters.
