got the same issue with 1050Ti 4GB
dag generation error out of memory

@PhoenixMiner
Can you please fix it?
its just 77MB used of the card from 4GB (another GPU is used for primary display)
but your miner can't find enough memory...
stopping your miner/close,
then run Claymore miner after that instead works just fine.

I have tried playing around with these without any success:(
Has anyone with a 4GB Nvidia card got this to work

I have 8 x GTX 1050 Ti 4GB on Windows 10.
I get the the DAG creation error.
Any idea how to resolve this, the DAG is only 3.3GB I believe
My Virtual Memory is more than enough to cover all of my cards in the rig.
Play with below switches:

-eres Allocate DAG buffers big enough for n epochs ahead (default: 2) to
avoid allocating new buffers on each DAG epoch switch, which should improve DAG switch stability
-lidag Slow down DAG generation to avoid crashes when swiching DAG epochs
      (0-3, default: 0 - fastest, 3 - slowest).

Performance Video in my testing so far: 481mh @ 1062w for a 8x 5700 XT rig. https://twitter.com/BitsBeTrippin/status/1174169921250631682

But probably going to settle for 474mh @ 1058, as few of the cards not showing 100% stability with settings. Once I see it clean for 24h will post how I got there in video.

Hi and congrats!

Share some settings for cards?
Please sharing the settings. I'm currently @ 1215W @ the Wall for my 8x RX 5700. Miner is reporting 900W. Getting about 425 MH/S (Which is great).

For the moment I just keep my settings simple: -cvddc 750 -cclock 1300 -mclock 920 -amd -mode 1.

Geeting another card tomorow to play with. This -openclLocalWork is not easy to figure out yet; can not have these incorrect shares

However, miner is unstable. Need more testing.

After updating drivers from 19.9.1 to 19.9.2 miner won't start, claymore works fine.

Check that windows defender isn't blocking the process... that's what happened to me.
Yea, i've read it. But windows defender was always turned off. I'm using 3-rd party AV and firewall, but they didn't do anything, i've tried to turn them off too, but it didn't help. Also no updates were installed, nothing else changed, only new drivers installed after DDU cleanup. Still trying to figure out what is wrong.

has anyone experienced a constantly decrease in hashrate 1070 and p104 cards? P104 drops hashrate from 40 to 39 in last 2-3months, same settings. Any workaround?

Hm. I have the same problem. Two 1070 cards of 6 have decreased its hasrate. I thought it is because these cards work much time. Nothing was changed in configuration files, MSI Afterburner was not updated, Phoeninx miner was not updated too.

u need to increase by +150 the core of the 1070.... like power 108watt core +150 mem +550 should go to 31.2mh per card!!

Core settings does not change hashrate for ETH significally.
I use CV +0, PL 64, CC +0, MC +600 and have 31.6 per card. That was more then 1.5 year. But last month (may be less then 30 days) 2 cards have about 31. Only two cards. Other 4 cards still have 31.6. As I said, nothing was changed. So I think that these two cards have regression because work much time. Initially I have only 2 cards. Then I have added 4 cards. But for now I do not know which cards decreased their hashrate - these 2 old cards or others. With these settings I have about 730W.

I've noticed an issue where at least 1 of my RX5700 will crash after switching to ETC when mining on Nicehash. The crash happens after a few minutes (less than 10) and they will crash even if it's only a brief switch to ETC then back to ETH. Mining to a regular ETC pool does not have any issues. I've tried every config setting/flag I can think of to try to prevent it (-eres 0 -rvram -1 -lidag 0 through 3), and both drivers 19.9.1 and 19.9.2. This is using version 4.6c. Any other setting I should try?

Nice, it's more efficient that Vega VII unless the Vega runs at 0.8v, 75mh/s. Better price perf too. Never thought that can happen, since HBM has good power savings. I guess it's because the Rx 5700 can run at lower voltages, while the Vega need 0.9v for 90mh/s. So it's not savings due to architecture, but due to better core to mem bandwidth ratio, allowing for lower voltage.

It still has to run ProgPow competitively and ideally a few more algos like beam and mtp before I can consider getting it.

What about the 2 from 8 incorrect shares?

Maybe it happens due to DAG size growing?
