I saw the news a few days ago that Pi is being marketed through the network, after buying something from a shop, Pi is paying off his debt by making transactions.  To you though it seems like a scam.  I don't think it's a scam.  Pi will never come close to Bitcoin though.  But Pi Coin will be limited to two to five dollars.
Keep dreaming forever and minting until your phone will be exploded. That's a scam coin. This coin exist since a few years ago and did nothing. There are enough proof for that. The newbie like you that keep blindly believing without doing any research and then think about a few dollar for each scam coin as the price is actually a non sense thing. Why don't you even say it will worth two digits? PI shillers are always saying non sense thing. False claim to be mined by millions of users

Here is what I know about PI network mining.I am active here as mining since 2020.Many say the Pi mining network will overtake Bitcoin. It's ridiculous though and looking at their platform shows they're making a lot of progress. They have their own browser, they have their core team. They have 24 hours support team. I heard their number of mining people was over 35 million before. While Bitcoin may not be able to pull back, they seem to be building a good position.I am still active in pi mining. My total pi number is 4992.

Could not upload full video.  And I don't know how to upload the complete video.  But what I think in the future Pi will show something.  What we could not think. I am sorry to say that I could not upload the full video. So you will see as much as I have uploaded. See they comment about Pi.

Lately it seems that Pi network is growing day by day.  Who can touch Bitcoin on the Pi network?  Many say that the Pi Network will overtake Bitcoin.  I had a bit of a laugh when I heard about the Bitcoin leak.  Bitcoin is the number one coin in cryptocurrency.  I don't think comparing any coin to Bitcoin is anything but silly.  But what is your opinion?  If anyone has an idea about pi network, please let me know.
It's truly laughable when they're having that belief that a non-existent project that is still in its testing phase for so long is being said will take over bitcoin.
There's too much with these believers that they've been waiting for it so long and they've got nothing to think about but overtaking bitcoin. It's not even being traded on any exchange or if there's any then it is only available on its own platform. Don't waste your time looking and being curious with that project.
Many believe it and most of them are newbies who have very little knowledge about how cryptocurrencies work, even how to get the coins by just installing the application on their smartphone they consider it as mining, that's indicates that the believers do not also know how mining works which requires equipment and resources
Exactly, they thought that mining is like that as easy as it goes through their smartphones, and boom, it's ready to go. Heck no, that's not how it goes and they've been just told that they're like mining and doing the simulation all over their phone.
And even if some tokens of this project go into their balance, are they able to trade them on exchanges? No, and how many years has it gone to the public when they've been known? They should have the idea already by now because if not, they're just wasting their hopes on this project and their precious time.

Although the Pi Network is unreliable at the moment but it's not impossible to get lucky one Day. for example (Zoom apk) luck is when the pandemic happened , previously no one was Interested  in Zoom apk. For Pi miner pleas  continue and don't regret if there is no result. I've also tried the Pi Network, but no  noticeable signs of progress.

Lately it seems that Pi network is growing day by day.
It is growing because many look already deceived as the popularity of mining to get crypto increases. Pi network promises reward in crypto (pi) daily to people who visit their platform to mine Hence the noticeable growth in the pi network. People are usually attracted by the promise of rewards, and it restrict rational thinking. Many of them may soon discover that maybe they have been wasting their time all along and should have invested more time to other cryptocurrencies.

Their updates seem like fakes and they always have some kind of good news in every field which seems unrealistic. This kind of crypto doesn't meet the criteria of a successful coin let alone taking over bitcoins. Don't be fooled by that adoption news in any businesses with Pi because if they truly have those widespread liquidities, we already see them on news right now but they haven't even gotten there and the worse part is, many people believe that they are actually gonna get something by mining Pi.

You mean the scam coin that you can "mine" on your phone that isn't even designed to mine anything? Growing in what terms?

Many say that the Pi Network will overtake Bitcoin.

Yeah, Pi Network is out there and is coming up even though some people think it is a scam project but I don't for now until it is. Most other projects outside Bitcoin have in one way or another been seen as a lesser projects even if I don't want to use the word SCAM. Also, we know how every other coin/token and even Exchange that do KYC seem as not good but are they actually not good because they do KYC? However, I don't see Pi Network passing Bitcoin in any way.

PI network is not a crypto coin. is just some random number in a database. literally a non-sense.
no exchange, no mining, no transfers.... nothing....

it's also a big risk providing data to them, there is an entire discussion/topic created by Leviathan.007 that summarize all threats behind this project https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/pi-network-a-huge-trapwarning-5237735

I will not trust something like this, and of course these "numbers" will never make you earn any real amount of money.
It's a while we are talking about them and it's still the same "non-sense" without any development or any real-use case.

I just took my sweet precious time and scoured the Internet for 'bitcoin leak' and of course, came up empty. Just another buzz word to throw us off the stink of this Pi Network ish. Yes, it stinks, Pi Network has been around for close to 3 years and nothing comes up of it, apart from the Mainnet launch which hasn't changed much

I have known about Pi network even before knowing this forum. I was introduced with a referral link to keep mining, that Pi will overtake bitcoin in the future.

I minned for a short time because of my ignorance and also because of the saying "no one knows the pregnancy that carries a King"
But at a certain time, I stopped mining and forgot about the project. I removed everything from my phone, I was like, if this be an opportunity let it slide.

Later on I now became aware of this forum, then my eyes opened about fake coins and kyc things. There is no doubt they have a very large community, but the project owners have started using the community for advertisement and other things making money from it.
I don't really know when the project will become a reality but I know it will not have an effect to be compared to Eth or Bnb let alone BTC.

Even if Bitcoin, Ethereum, BNB are not equivalent to them, the price of each pie is two or five dollars.  But then it will be very good.  And if they do scam then there will be no talk about this coin.  But no matter what, some people still find that Bitcoin will go closer to it.  But they didn't stop dreaming about it.  Let's see how far the network can go in the future.  Or in a few days everything will be gone.  After a few days if it is seen that there is no coin in cryptocurrency called Pi Network.

Pi network is a scam business. Tell me one simple thing, if a coin is available for free using your mobile phone, can you tell me how on earth it would have value? Or how on earth someone will pay for it? If you understand this, you will understand that Pi network will never succeed.

If  by any chance Pi network gets listed in exchanges, the owner will simply sell of their holdings at the first go and leave the market. Also why do they need our KYC?

This scam has been going on for years. People don't really get anything from the pi network. At best, they are giving their personal info for free with hopes of getting some Pi coins and its value shooting up someday (which isn't going to happen anyway). Lots of tokens have been created with absurd takes on how they will topple bitcoin down, but not a single one of them ever did. Some came close (ETH) but still isn't enough to take down bitcoin's dominance.

Funny, indeed. Do you know how many tokens/coins that have been rumoured to overtake Bitcoin? If I get to collect a dollar each time that claim is made, I would've been in substantial wealth by now. Well, for your information Pi is not a reality (that's putting it mildly, anyway) and it's likely it would end that way after stressing people and giving them false hope. There were others like TBC and BTCs which were rumoured to be the next BTC. They disappeared overnight 😆
