Blazed, maybe you need to start your own grading certification company for physical cryptos. You could add features like a balance check QR code, a warning alert for reports of compromised coins, and a record keeping option for chain of custody.

I did the math on this as as few of us were considering such a venture.  There is simply not enough volume (revenue) to cover operating costs (insurance, facility, admin, etc..)

Edit to add:  new label is horrible and that warning will scare away any new collectors.  The application of the hologram shows how little they care about looking professional.  Fuck ANACS!

If you are thinking in terms of a traditional corporation, yes. However, drop the idea of having a warehouse or store front and only do coin shows with grading and slabbing on site. The insurance would be covered by the promoter of the show. I believe there are ways to do this without requiring the same kind of volume that ANACS needs.

Edit: there are certifications you can get to be an appraiser for insurance purposes. I am not sure what else is really required besides demonstrating competency in consistently grading coins and having nice looking tamper-proof slabs.

Unreal.  Ugly as hell.  Not to mention that they practically put a glowing neon sign on these placing doubt in the mind of anyone considering purchasing a physical crypto that the digital value might not actually be on the coin.

If they gave me a choice, I would have just had them return them raw rather than put them in these monstrosities.

Thanks ANACS.   Angry

yeah, not looking very professional. At least the old design was clean. I don't think I'll be sending in Kialara error coins for grading at ANACS. Maybe ICG  Tongue

So these ugly cases were the reason for the months of delay? They were definitely NOT worth it.

These are pretty ugly, but I get why the added the warning. Love the quality of the hologram on that second slab...almost looks like a 12 year old applied it.
