I think the wallet may need a little work. On windows I've been downloading the blockchain for 2 days, still 5 weeks behind, added all the nodes, only 6 connections. And the wallet is using a high amount of cpu. Is this normal?
Hello check your pc because its sync in 1 hour or little be your internet connection

Ok, well that's strange. It finally synced. Don't know why it took so long. Still the wallet is using a lot of cpu, is this normal? Other wallets don't use nearly as much cpu. I'm using version v1.0.0.2-g32a928e, even though the rar I downloaded says v1.0.0.3

Does my wallet need to be open to be staking
Yes wallet must be kept open for staking with some coins in it, more the quantity of coins in wallet will fetch you more rewards.
Pls must the wallet be open online for 24hours for staking to take place?

No. Weight grow all the time. You must open wallet for get reward. After get reward you can close it and open on next day or week to get next reward. This is system etc.

I am very optimistic!  Smiley The community is growing continuously and after the storm there is  always time to reflect.

We've seen PIE grow the last couple of days from a market cap of around $1 million to $1.5 million, to $2.5 and this morning (GMT) even
reached the $3.5 million. Some people take their profit for others to be able to go on board, nothing wrong with that.

For example, if you get for every 1000 dumped coins 200 long-termers in return, that's a win!

Because in the end it's about the long term, the potential of the cryptocurrency and how we cooperate to make
the unbelievable happen and be able to distinguish ourselves from stuffy currency.

You will always have people going for the short term and bots trying to dump in the hope people will follow
to bring the price down.

Despite that, connect to our community to make it happen, be part of it. Hold your Pies!
Like Braveheart, hold, hooold, hoooold! Believe me, there will be dips and downers,
but in end the long-termers will overwin!

There is no $10 million market cap limit for us, not even $50 million, it's far beyond.

The future of PieCoin (PIE) is bright, the top 100 cryptcocurrency is not waiting for us,
we will secure our position among those.

We are the magnificent future.  Cool

Pardon me. I'm not sure how to go about creating the .comf file. Do I just open a text doc and rename it .comf and paste the addnode lines in it?

Yes, you just make a new .txt file with wordpad or whatever then rename the extension to .conf. You can open .conf files in wordpad as well.

tell him to used notepad++ for easy used. or gedit for linux  Cheesy

Or can use sublime Smiley
