Ok I get it now (hopefully).  A Tesla museum, right?  Ok, why not, but...  does it really make sense to spend a lot of money such a physical place, nowadays??

The Wikipedia page about Tesla used to be a good article, but is not anymore.  You guys should work on this first.  It would be much cheaper and would have probablly much more impact on Tesla's notoriety.

I'm amazed by the amount of enthusiasm in such a weird idea.   I don't know much about Tesla, but from times to times I indeed hear a bit about this Tesla-mania on internet.  Sounds very irrational to me.

We know a great deal more about electromagnetism now that we know during Tesla's life time.  And know we have computers to make simulations, we don't need to build expensive and hazardous machines for experimentation.  I doubt there anything we could learn from Tesla nowadays.

Please guys, go back to earth and be serious.
Did you actually read /anything/ in the info graphic?...

Oops.  I did read it quickly, maybe I missed something.  I'll read again.

Hello!
Please build the science center with lots of round smooth objects.

(I can make drawing cuz i got it all perfect in my head.)

Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Lots of flowers... a waterfall... rainbows... magic mushrooms... and a refuge for invisible pink unicorns...
and maybe... maybe... like a STATUE MADE OUT OF PURE
DIAMOND with PIRATE AT MOTHERFUCKING FORTY high-fiving TESLA for SCIENCE!

And it should all be FREE and kids can stay for as long as they like. WHEEEEEEE!

Actually, tesla was afraid of round objects, he was afraid they would lodge themselves in his body or something... I think he broke up with his girlfriend when she wore pearl earrings once

This pearl earrings story is total bullshit. According to his personal notes, on display in the museum in Belgrade, he dumped her because of Ben Wa balls which horrified him. We'll never know for sure, but it may have something to do with his failed attempts to create an electric version of Ben Wa.
It's funny that that story is BS, but the real reason is even funnier. Teslas a cool guy

Tesla was the man! However, his system would have rendered radios unusable and there is no practical way to meter the energy broadcast.

You think that they would be unable to find a way to meter wireless energy consumption?

I should have used the word "was" rather than "is". Today we would establish a computer connection to meter the energy. At the time the technology was more like radio. So just like radio, the station has no idea who is listening or even how many are listening. This was not an issue for Tesla, he believed in free energy for the masses. if I remember correctly he was a communist.
If I remember correctly, that was the reason the project got upended in the first place - the investors that were backing it didn't realize that they wouldn't be getting anything out of it because the power couldn't be metered or regulated. But they only found that out after the construction of the tower, so they scrapped it.

He hasn't been contacted yet by anyone I know. But I think he might be willing to make an exception when we muster up a huge donation.
