Hi vineyard.

Two days ago I was able to play free tournaments with almost every participant, but since yesterday when I play free tournament it takes hours to complete the list of participants. For example, if I play a free tournament and finish it with 10 pillars, there is only me in the tournament list of participants and the other three vacants always say "waiting for participant". I can easily accumulate twenty or more open games. Is that a bug ? Thank you.

I support freedom of choice
I see that you have removed the possibility to avoid getting in tournament with someone, will you put it back?

Just uploaded the newest version of the Coin Flapper Google Play edition. Much faster servers. I do recommend the PRO version, though:  http://bitplay.today/coin-flapper-pro

Awesome, I'll down load this now and give it a try. How many btc can I win? Anyone here ever have a good score and take a lot of btc out of this?

300, 150 and 50 satoshi for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place respectively. only 4 players in a tournament so most likely you will win if you are good

I need to give a correction on this statement..
In the free tournament the prizes are distributed as below :
1st : 600satoshi
2nd : 300 satoshi
3rd : 50satoshi

And I think that what you've stated (300,150 & 50 satoshi) is belong to the other game "bitcoin crush"

Hey everyone, sorry for going dark for so long on this thread.

I know there has been a lot of discussion around Coin Flapper PRO vs. Coin Flapper (available from Google Play Store). So I wanted to chime in here and let folks know what is going on.

Coin Flapper PRO is a separate app from Coin Flapper that you would download from the Google Play store. It isn't distributed from Google Play because their current developer policies do not allow an app that accepts Bitcoin as a form of payment. Google also restricts games of skill that pay a prize. The version that is in the Play store is not a form of gambling because it does not allow you to deposit funds - it only supports our FREE-to-enter tournaments where you play for free and can only win/withdraw Bitcoin. Therefore, a player using our Google Play version of the app can never be considered "gambling" because he/she never risks losing anything (which is the definition of gambling: risking something of value with the risk of losing it for the hope of winning something of more value).

The PRO games allow you to win more Bitcoin. You must pay a small entry fee (0.001BTC), but stand to win 0.003 BTC, based on your skill. This type of game is legal in 36 (or more) states within the US, as well as most other countries throughout the world.

PRO games are distributed as a "side-loaded" app available from http://bitplay.today/coin-flapper-pro

I hope this helps in the discussions. I am back and monitoring this thread. So, I will happily answer any questions.

Also, more games out in June/July - any suggestions on that front?

I tried the application, an it was fun, although I realy suck at the game, but I only saw the free tournaments.
How can I see the paid ones?

You need to download the PRO version. It is not available in playstore, so you need to download it from their website.

Why is it not available in the playstore? Is it safe like that?

as far as I know, apps that facilitate real gambling are not permitted in Play Store.

Yes. It was explained earlier. Apps that allow you to spend money for a chance to win something are gambling. And that's a violation of google's content policy. So they could only leave the non-gambling game in the store.

Nice game, just installed it and gave you 5 stars on Google Play. Haven't played in any tournament yet, just practice for now, need to hone my skills  Grin
I'm curious though, how did you get past Google policies or have they not noticed your app yet? Like around March this year, a guy on Reddit came up with the same idea, a Flappy clone called Super Doge where you could win small amounts of Doge just by playing the game. The app got taken down by Google after a month or so and the email they sent him said that he was in 'violation of the gambling provision of the Content Policy'. He appealed but never got his app back on the market.
Anyways it's great that you guys have managed to slip through. Keep up the good work!  Wink

Gambling requires the player to spend something of value (money, Bitcoin, gold, etc.) in order for the chance to win something of value. Our games do not require the player to spend anything of value (they simply award prizes) so they are not gambling. In fact, our app has no way of depositing Bitcoin, only withdrawing. Also, our games are games of skill, not games of chance.

Super Doge accepted "tips" in Dogecoin. The "tips" end up into the prize pool which means the person making the tip now stands to win more. This is why it is gambling. Also, Google requires any in-app purchase to be done with Google Play (they take 30%). So if Super Doge didn't get bounced for gambling, it would eventually have gotten bounced for violating this policy.

Thanks for the rating in the app store, and have fun!

What is the difference from the old one?
The user can bet.

Just downloaded the new PRO version. The entry fee is .001, 1st place wins .003 and 2nd place wins .0005. Your balance from original Coin Flapper won't transfer but you can deposit to the new one. It also has the original free play on it as well.

I'm I the only one that think this is awesome? nt sure I am wow, seem they've  step up their game a bit Smiley

"Entry fee" Do you mean fee for the pro version?

Entry fee means fee to play in the paid tournament.
So it means that if you want to play in the pro version you need to pay 0.001 for each
tournament, and if you win you'll get 0.003btc..

This is correct, however I have a question maybe someone can answer. How does the app maker make any money? I noticed that they put a tiny ad in the PRO version but that wouldn't cover the costs. If you and I entered the PRO tournament, we give them .002 and they pay out .0035, not to mention every free tournament is .00000800 and there are a lot of these every day. I'm just curious if there is another way that they make money from the apps that anyone knows about.

The fee will be 0.001x4=0.004 and the total prize is only .0035 therefore they have .0005 commision on every round
