I think that your post will be useful for many, good that you wrote it. But I think investors are smart enough now not to fall for scams. It can be dangerous for beginners.
This is what I always preach about, it is good to checkmate a project before trying to throw your money in there, we didn't just heard of bitcoin and went to buy it because we were told that there would be an increase in price, we went to buy it because we read satoshi whitepaper and discovered that the project is very feasible.
Always make sure you do your research well before making investment in ICOs.
I wonder why many people still fall victims of all these ICOs that are out there to milk people of their money, you I know, have realized that some people are just too lazy to do researcher themselves which is quite a bad quality of an investor or a trader, they will rather prefer to rely on peoples opinion than to acquire solid knowledge about the project and make enquiries themselves.Always make sure you do your research well before making investment in ICOs.
Though whitepaper is not enough to really conclude on an ICO, more research needs to done on the team and project before investing money, most ICO’s nowadays are scam and this is terribly discouraging.

People should be 100% sure that their investment made in any project will be safe and secured and will not be scammed. Only invest in such projects where you get the complete information as you require and you know this can make it big in coming months.

yeah even though it's very promising like other project it always turn to garbage at the end. That's why i preferred also choosing finished projects which is less worries and very ensured. rather than putting money on some uncertain ICO project because i don't want to waste a money again. . 
As far as I am concerned, this is based on my familiarity with the said platform, it looks like there is a definite need to be more careful when it comes to investing to these kinds of cryptocurrency. I am not saying that do not buy but if you really trust the platform and you want to grow together with them then by all means you do invest. But still try to do cautionary measures so that you will not be losing your money in the long run.
The only way one can trust the project or be cautious enough is to go through their white paper first and also check the team involved thoroughly before investing. We should not see it’s as stressful in thoroughly investigating the team behind the project before Investing in a project you expect to profit one in the long run should not.Even if we do advise that one should invest money that one can afford to lose but the truth is that no money is worth loosing because it’s called hard earned money, I will rather visit the orphanage homes that lose my money to a scam ICO.

As long as the people ready to invest on anything when someone says it can give 1000% profits in few months,then new ICOs will keep coming with different names on it.Until now we have more than 2000 crypto currencies which is more than enough to sustain the future of cryptos so stop supporting new projects and make the market matured.
This is why I keep saying that this crypto world is for those who have money already because with the little promotion and payment of money to some major influencers, your project would be on top. Just because BTT was launched on binance launchpad(that wasn't free), look at how it got choked.
well bittorrent is just another pump and dump coin.. if you bought in binance and you did not sell early then you lose..its there strategy just to gain investor
You are right, I realized a lot of people have started accumulating this coin in which the market is already getting bigger, you know news also has a way of playing big role in the price of a crypto, despite the fact I am not a fan of BTT and hate the fact that they practice pump and dump, a part of me is still considering trading with the coin because I believe a time is coming in the future when they will pump bigger so let me take advantage of it before it turns to a shit coin.

So many developer now doing scam and that is destroying the image of cryptocurrency. Many people here who scammed already are disappointing to invest in other projects.
You are righr because of a lot of scam project the image of the cryptocurrency to the whole internet community and people around the world that destory and that cause for the investor to back out and those future investor are really scared now because of that.I hope the projects will become legit now so the investor will come back again and to help to the market to recover again.

Looking at the details in conmarketcap, nearly $450 M. have been traded in last 24 hours, which is an insane ammount. Cant remember now something as overhyped at this, and when it falls, will drop hard.
I always take a look at marketcap instead of price to realize if there is potential. Value just over TOTAL supply (as circulating supply isnt public yet):
990.000.000.000 BTT x $0,000905 = nearly $900 M.

When BTT ICO started, I was there and tried hard to invest in this ICO. But binance launchpad did not accept me 
I mean Every time i tried to buy BTT coin, it showed me an error! So, when all token was sold out and when I knew only 700 plus people could join in the ICO, then I thought those 700 people were whales or team members from the Binance and BitTorrent! So, people should be careful about investing in BTT coins, anytime it can go to 70-90% down!

That is true that only a few could invest during the initial phase and they closed in a matter of minutes but that does show that they are bluffing, they reached their target in minutes and they closed the initial phase and that is the case with every top level hot projects, it is difficult to enter during the initial phase as it reaches the target in minutes. 
The money that I have lose in cryptocurrencies investments that I am not happy with is not through trading but through icos. Investment into icos projects are full of scamming and I have decided to stop it because of the amount investors have lose. I joined op to said it is highly advisable for us to avoid ico investments.
