Thanks for the info.

Justs wondering If his new account was banned then he will create a new one and name it ~~~DefaultTrust and so on. ~~~~~~~~~ Grin
I'm not sure how much QA testing theymos has done with the distrust/trust lists but hopefully it can handle the edge cases of strange character interactions with backslashes and tildes in one's name.

Not sure if you can even register with something like \\~\~~DefaultTrust but surely it looks like it might have a chance to break something Smiley

Agree, The username with a ~ should not be allowed in the forum it might create some software bugs in the distrust/trust lists or maybe not but we never know, the forums is not perfect.

either this ~DefaultTrust since it has bad feedback something like impersonating the DefaultTrust.

OK, I tried to distrust ~DefaultTrust previously with the \~DefaultTrust but it didn't look to have worked.  How do I ~ both ~DefaultTrust and ~~DefaultTrust ??
You've got it the other way 'round:

"If you want to trust someone whose name begins with a tilde, prefix their name with a backslash."
It's as easy as
~~DefaultTrust
~~~DefaultTrust
As stupid as it looks.
Backslash is only to get rid of the intended meaning of the tilde, which is to distrust... and since you're not looking to trust "~[...]" but rather distrust, you needn't use a backslash.
Thanks for the info.
I guess you just have a bunch of low-quality posts that would make you a spammer, maybe the moderator makes a decision at your account also I think you already notice a lot of negative feedback because of your username.
What are you talking about? It is forbidden to write what I think? Really? Are we in North Korea???
OK. Realized. It seems I have violated secret forum rules:
1. It is forbidden to write here what you think
2. It is strongly forbidden to write here if you are not asked anything.
Thank you for clarification!
Just to clarify, this is the pertinent rule: "No zero or low value, pointless or uninteresting posts or threads"
Really, it casts a large enough net/umbrella to catch most of the varied forms of spam. Burst posting is merely an action that one performs to create multiple spam posts.
A spam post could be deemed so due to the context of the thread:
Suppose there are already 10 replies, of which highlight similar solutions or remarks about the given topic. If you decide to write an 11th reply and fail to add anything of substance that is novel, then you are merely repeating the previous replies in the thread and thereby not contributing to the discussion. Thus, insubstantial quality - multiple posts of this kind in quick succession would likely be considered "burst posting".
Pedantry does get tiresome, doesn't it?
Definitely I believe there is a warning sign of how you will post in the forum. This is not a chat room where you just come start posting any how even saying what is not making sense. You really have to follow rules in other words understand what Bitcointalk is all about before you start posting.
I think the OP focused only WHAT IS PUBLISHED without further browsing the whole forum. He may scheme some threads, but haven't understand the whole purpose of the forum itself, making him doubtful why his actions are implicitly forbidden / punishable by ban in the forum. And no wonder why the management nor other old users here doesn't even bother helping him, as his actions and posting style seems to be carried out of anger and hate to the forum's written rules itself.
This is a forum. A simple "forum" word simply means a place of exchanging ideas and thoughts, not EVERY THING you can think of.
What are you talking about? It is forbidden to write what I think? Really? Are we in North Korea???
I just wonder why are you so mad that there are no written nor published rules about the burst posting that could lead to ban, as if you posted certain topics that has sense at all nor contributes some answers or even questions.
Thank you for clarification!
You already violated another rule, which is ban evasion.
You're wrong here.
User: ~DefaultTrust
Reason: Burst posting / low quality posts
I have not see any logic at all.
What is "Burst posting" Huh I am not bot and my posting is totally from head. Is it forbidden to write many posts here?
What is "low quality posts" Huh There was ony one deleted post with that reason  at 4.05.2020. If other messages are "low quality" why there are not deleted then?
If it is forbidden to write two posts with an interval of three minutes, then it probably need to write about this in the rules? I did not know about this restriction. Thank you for telling me about this secret rule.
Aren't you wondering why there are a lot of users in here whom the activities and post counts are too far from one another? Because this forum isn't like any other social media you are addicted to, like twitter. This is a forum. A simple "forum" word simply means a place of exchanging ideas and thoughts, not EVERY THING you can think of. I just wonder why are you so mad that there are no written nor published rules about the burst posting that could lead to ban, as if you posted certain topics that has sense at all nor contributes some answers or even questions. Also, not all "low quality" posts are deleted, as not all posts had attention. In which cases, depends on how often you post in a certain period of time. Which makes it all clear that burst posting + low quality of posts = cannot be deleted early.
Stop your tantrums. You already violated another rule, which is ban evasion.
I think for banning there is a main reason which is low level post such as favourite colour,fav. car, how are you etc. This happens make this forum very funny. so,please cannot low level post.
Actually there's no such rule about that, the forum system automatically prevents you from submitting posts in a small period of time, which decreases as your Activity goes up.
Code:
waittime = 360;
if(activity >= 15)
        waittime = (int)(90 - activity);
if(activity >= 60)
        waittime=(int)(34.7586 - (0.0793103 * activity));
if(activity >= 100)
        waittime = max((int)(14-(activity/50)), 4);
Is it forbidden to write many posts here?
Not forbidden by the rules, but it is frowned upon, if you are writing one after another within a couple of minutes.
Okay, so I got banned for one low-quality post? I did not know about such strict rules.
It is not necessary for a mod to delete all the messages of a user if they are about to ban him. So, only because the mod who banned you did not delete all your messages it doesn't mean that they are not of low quality.
I don't see message on BPIP that you're banned. Either information wasn't updated yet or you just got temporary ban. I haven't checked your post history, so I can't say anything about your post quality. So, I think only mod can tell you why exactly did he banned you.
Is it really necessary to reply here? Don't feed the troll. The username says all.
I don't think thst this topic works as feeding the troll...
I am not a mod and I do not know exactly why you are banned. But I can understand why you are banned but not many posts are deleted  Cheesy
A reply of yours, quoted below, was deleted by a Bitcoin Forum moderator. Posts are most frequently deleted because they are off-topic, though they can also be deleted for other reasons. In the future, please avoid posting things that need to be deleted.
If your article is not off-topic, its removal rate will be very low  Tongue And here you are banned because of low quality, which means your posts are not off-topic, it might be some bullshit, I don't know, but it's low quality. Anyway, it's just a temporary ban, I think you don't need to create another account to appeal like this  Tongue
Yes I know that this is a temp ban. But I think that bans should have preventive goals.
Therefore, I would like to know: what exactly did I do wrong?
Obv if my posts "were of low quality" then they should by removed. But my posts was not removed but I have been banned.
Looks like it is not a permanent ban. Bpip shows no info that you are banned so you probably received a 7 or 14 days temporary ban. The modlog shows that two of your recent posts have been deleted. I can't comment on your posts because I don't speak Russian.
You have quite a few meaningless one-two-liners in spam megathreads. I wouldn't ban for it but I'm not a moderator.
It's a temp ban, I'm sure you'll survive it.
