I have been lurking this site for a while. It has come to my attention that it is covered in so many scam accusations. Too many newcomers are either scamming people, or being scammed. I have decided that this online transaction forum would do better if newcomers came with at least negative 20 in order to have motivation to be stable, and not scam anyone.
I am not a scammer, but I'd like to prove that by rising above my upcoming negative rating. I am a coder for a computer business, and two other websites dedicated to Bitcoin. It'll become the norm to have negative feedbacks then, and it'll sort of nullify the effect of it.
If you're honest, then just go on ahead and do your business honestly and there shouldn't be a problem.

I'll also let you in on a little tip. Scam accusations are serious.. The only thing that belongs in users feedback are personal experiences with that user... and I would even go as far to say trade deals ONLY. No one gives a fuck if you THINK someone is a scammer or is abusing trust. You are new user and I already don't trust you.
FEEDBACK is NOT a Ficco score. It doesn't go down just because someone else thinks it should. Unless you've traded with someone keep your brown nose out of it. This is where our moderators need a bit more system power. They should have the ability and actively review feedback. Vod are you paying attention? This applies greatly to your feedback. You're a great scam buster but like the police.. at times.. accuse perfectly innocent people. Or have insufficient proof of the claim. You don't care. Probably won't even ready this, but realize people do take note of it.

What I did here was research. It didn't take long and it adds up quickly. If you want to help the community, do things like this. Back up claims. Report true scammers not just people you don't like. And the most important thing... Just go with the flow for a while before you start recommending all these changes or even worse claiming our beloved website wont exist come first of the year. Not even lizardSquad could pull that one off. Then again lizardSqd is very much here i'm sure. reading this post.

I don't think that kind of system works. I mean, it only takes 10 seconds to create a newbie account. And based on what I have seen on the majority of numbers of all newbies here, if their accounts get negged, they will create a new clean one. That's just how thses people view it. It'll be harder to give up an account if it could reach a certain rank as full member then maybe in there people with negative trust will do something to clear their reputation here and remove the red tags.

i see one problem with your idea (thats also why i think what you are doing is trust abusing): if many people do this its impossible to detect people who have already scammed someone because anybody starts in the red.
i'd like to see proven scammers in red - new people may not be trustworthy but someone who scammed is more bad and the rating should reflect that

No one will want to give you a negative rep, it's just immoral. If you want to prove your trustablity, be active in the forum and help out. You don't need any negative trust, nor positive trust to be trusted. If you are well known and make alot of trades, people will naturally hear your name and trust you, positive trust or not.

Prove it by going around, doing your business. If people don't trust you to do an exchange with you, then use an escrow. (Unless you're doing some reversible payment exchange for bitcoins.) If anything, you should just completely disregard the little numbers under your username.
It is understandable that newcomers can't be trusted. You have all been worried, so why can't my proposal be taken into immediate consideration? I'm just trying to do what I believe in.
